Some of the lodge's appliances did not work which was a shame. Also there were a couple of aesthetics that were broken which could have been easily fixed. However these did not ruin the experience but it was a little sad as they could have been easily fixed. The lodge was well equipped however there could have been more wine glasses to cater for the capacity. It is a shame there isn't a small shop on site for essentials that could have been forgotten.

The lodge and surrounding site was beautiful. So quiet and pretty the atmosphere was peaceful. The club house was modern but cozy and although we did not eat the food looked amazing. Drinks were reasonably priced and a good variety including cocktails.

Absolutely fantastic 2 night stay with family… my eldest daughter has stayed in the lodge a few times so came highly recommended… just a lovely relaxing comfortable stay with added bonus of hot tub… York 20 mins away definitely worth a trip and Aldi 2 miles away perfect for a food shop 👍🏻

The microwave is not working. And no help came to sort out that.

Struggled to find the place so we called for assistance to find the most unhelpful obnoxious person who would only text would not answer stated bad signal then became a text warrior, big and clever, why would you put a phone number to call if they have bad signal!!!!!! Or could they not be arsed!!!!!!!

We stayed in December on very windy rainy weekend and tv signal was not great. Could only get Channel 1 & 2 properly although staff were very helpful and did offer us an aerial man to have a look at the problem however we were happy to go without the TV

The hot tub had an issue. When the guy came to look at it Monday night it ends up at low temperature We got in at 9:30pm but was a bit too cold. We got up early to try & get a bit longer. It was My friends 40th & she LOVES a hot tub. So it worked out ok ish, no one’s fault just a shame we couldn’t use it as much on the 2nd night as we wanted.

Very clean. Lodge set out perfectly Was a quiet & relaxing location Close to city. Lodge has everything you need for short or long stay.

There was rubbish under the sofa and behind it that we had to clean up once we got in there the tap was dripping for an hour after every time we used it but due to trees everywhere there where loads of leafed and debree that fell in hotub cos of wind but other than that was easily managed

The staff where brilliant at jjs bar worth the money so polite and kind reception brilliant lady helped us loads was nice and private area too

The property was lovely however there were a few issues where the staff gave 0 concern. The electrics tripped on the 1st night so we had no use of a microwave for the full stay and no one came after saying they would, the messages sent to the emergency line were ignored and not resolved.. we went to the reception and they said someone would arrive and rectify the issue and nobody ever came. The 2nd bedroom had to stay in darkness during the whole stay due the roller blind being broken, same as our en suite.

The lodge was lovely, the hot tub was the highlight of the stay, very spacious and a very quiet location to enjoy relaxing.

Arrived to an unclean property that had stained couches, broken deckchairs, an unclean hot tub, a broken glass, no cleaning products, ripped pillow, ripped duvet, stained floor in the bathroom and a broken hook in the wall for the curtains. It was terrible. We checked out of the property on July 6th and it is now the 25th of July and I still HAVEN'T had my £200 security deposit back with no response to my last message on the 21st of July. It is one of the worst experiences I've ever booked.
