Mosquitoes - obviously not a fault of the host but this may be as a warning for someone else. You’ll need spray and repellent otherwise good luck 🤞🏻 If bed was little bit bigger it would be nice 10/10 but still easy 9.5/10 for two nights from us.

Great location, cabin and host, surrounded by peaceful village and still hidden in nature with nothing but peaceful silence (apart of the trains which we didn’t mind much) Great jacuzzi and grill and all necessary appliances what we needed for stay. There are three cabins but they all got great privacy however this cabin has jacuzzi on one side and girl at the other so you got to walk around which was not deal for us but it might be for someone else. Thank you for having us we will be surely back

Only issue we found is the Trainline nearby, if you can look past the odd train its very secluded.

Beautiful little cabins for a getaway, very quiet space. Facilities were amazing and the owner was lovely. Great Little pub/restaurant around the corner as well.

I would say a few more hooks for coats/gowns would be a good idea and possibly a later checkout time 😊

Such an amazing place, beautiful location and a warm inviting feeling. I felt comfortable here which was so nice! Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We'll definitely be back to stay again, We didn't want to leave!

Absolutely everything! Especially being greeted by the owners dogs Poppy & Buster in the morning/afternoon. The most beautiful and quiet location!

The owners were absolutely lovely, we had a problem with the electrics and Martin came out straight away and solved the issue. All the facilities were easy to use and great. The location was perfect and we loved that it was secluded. We will definitely stay again.

the hot tub was at the rear of the property rather than at the front where the entrance to the property was and there was no light to the side so had to walk in the dark to get to the hot tub.

Secluded, it has very large hot tub 😍 bed is so comfortable and very clean, so picturesque could of stayed there alpt longer would definitely be goingback in future.

Beautiful tranquil cabin, was perfect for out Anniversary break and had everything we needed. The hottub was amazing and was great after a long day exploring. Loved our morning visits from the owners 2 dogs. Can't wait to return

Photographs do not do this fabulous hideaway justice. It's simply stunning. Beautifully landscaped and delightful in every aspect. Owners are lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The house is perfect in every way. We shall return...often!

That we had to leave!

The house was a perfect location for travelling to Newark showground for the Focus festival. Our stay was great, the house allowed us to wake to stunning views and birdsong and the evening gave us the opportunity to relax in the hot tub under the stars. We hope to return next year.

The location is so peaceful and although your a short walk from shops, local pub which serves lovely food you feel so shut off from the world. The BBQ and hot tub is amazing and the hosts do really provide everything you could possibly need. The bed is so comfy and we can't wait to come back for a cosy winter visit.

The fact the wooden house was very private was good the dog had plenty of space to run around. I booked this for a surprise for my partner and with us living in Stoke I couldn’t go Tuxford to put banners and chocolates in the cabin so with the birthday package it just added that extra wowness will definitely be going back had an amazing time. 😁

Absolutely stunning location, wonderful hot tub, so peaceful and quiet, as soon as we opened the door, the smell of cleanliness just hit us in the face The dog really enjoyed himself too and there was everything you could need, fridge freezer, TV, kettle, hob, toaster, bbq crockery etc would definitely recommend to anyone there was even a file explaining everything about the stay and things to do in the area, such amazing detail
