No air-con, so stuffy when warm. Fan helped, couldn’t leave windows open on ground floor. Lack of shelving in bathroom.

    Location, parking, roomy, access, staff.

Not air conditioned. There was a table fan, but it would have been better with a pedestal fan. It was hot during the night during our stay.

The location was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent. Guided us for the local tour.

No real issues, enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location, literally a two minute walk into town with good parking, breakfast was very good and the staff were polite and helpful. We've stayed in the main hall before, this time we were in the annexe. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable with a large en-suite. Be prepared for some floorboard squeaking from upstairs if you're in the ground floor rooms, to be expected in a building as old as this. It's a little more pricey than some, but you're paying for character, location and good parking. Would definitely recommend, great place.

There was nothing bad to say. Perhaps that it was too bright in the morning having 4 roof windows with no proper dark blinds.

The location of the Bagdale Hall is perfect. The breakfast was great. We had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and the famous pouched Whitby Kippers. Our room was very spacious and clean. We stayed in the annexe. The staff was very friendly and chatty. We really appreciated being able to park here as well.

    Everything was good.

Staff were friendly and the service was very efficient. Close to the center of Whitby only a 5min walk, to great restaurants and sites in Whitby. Railways station close by and museum about Captain James Cook. Great fish and chips to be had. Car parking on site which allows the freedom to roam around Whitby. Carol is very knowledgeable and will always be up for a chat while serving in bar.
