Definitely the food not good I had the chicken in tarragon sauce it was a small peice of chicken floating in what tasted and looked like warm milk was disgusting so I never ate anything

Breakfast wasn’t great was cold and eggs were hard poached no toast for table our evening meal was a disaster waited an hour for food when it came it was the wrong order so had to wait again not good at all

Loved everything, we had a junior suite and it was so peaceful. Comfortable bed, and a huge bath plus walk in shower Ate in the pub, I am gluten free and had pie, it was delicious. Couldn't fault anything.

We walked out to the seating area in the grass by the lake, there was alot ie almost every footstep of what could have been fox poo. Be aware.

The mattress was too soft for us. Also, we had dinner in the restaurant and it didn't agree with us. I would definitely stay again in the accommodation as it was amazing but I think I would choose to dine somewhere else.

We had a lovely room, very clean and really beautifully decorated. The whole place is done with style and care and has a very cosy and elegant feeling. We loved it. It's a beautiful area and so close to many amazing places.

We could hear thumping music in our bedroom when we checked in and then again from 07:00. We mentioned this to the staff who were baffled.

Beautiful location Great garden, unfortunately the outside furniture was being jet blasted during our sunny stay. We had the bedroom with an outside space which was lovely…. needs a little tlc though. Really spacious dining area. We sat overlooking the water.

We were especially impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and all the extra touches - slippers, dressing gowns, tea and coffee selection! The food was amazing! All the staff were friendly and polite. We are definitely recommending to our friends and family and will be making a return visit!

The evening meal was a bit of a let down this time the food was just luke warm not hot as it should of been. That said the breakfast was great.

The rooms were very clean and airy, the beds very comfortable and a great nights sleep was had. The staff could not do enough for you and very helpful. This is our 3rd year staying here and highly recommend a stay.

Only negative was that this was a stay over for a work meeting rather than a night away with the wife.

Simply faultless. The moment you turn off and drive up the lane towards the property you get hit by the WOW factor. Everything about this place was amazing. The setting, the mixture of old v new for the make up of the property, the decor, the room itself, the staff and their attention to detail, the amazing food I had for dinner. Would be quite happy to pay double what I did for my stay.

The waiting time for main courses was consistently very slow. It was busy but a couple of times we thought we’d been forgotten!
