food was good but took its time

The rooms and bathroom in the Gallery are really clean and well maintained. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bar was niece, and drinks quickly served. I originally had booked for the whole family, but ended up staying alone there due to unforeseen circumstances. It is very family friendly and cot would be available upon request. dogs are also welcome, nevertheless the rooms I have seen are squeaky clean. The environment is very quiet and peaceful, and the view is amazing.

the apartment was a wee bit chilly on the first night but had warmed up on the second. I hadn't packed a cosy jumper but the fleecy blanket came in handy!!

A beautiful location overlooking Loch Awe and a good beer garden at the back. Our little apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable at a very good price. We had a nice meal in the restaurant on the first night and took advantage of self catering facilities on the second night.

The restaurant wasn't open on the three nights we stayed. It would've been good to have a meal there but the staff explained this when we arrived.

We loved the location and the old house itself. Our apartment was well equipped. We are a family of six and we were able to cook meals easily. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Needs were very comfy.

The location and views from the property were amazing. There was plenty of room for us all to eat and relax in the West Wing, the layout suited our needs. The onsite restaurant and bar were just down the corridor. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly.

Not a dislike, more a note of awareness to others. The phone signal is patchy, and the WiFi is limited to the bar/social area. The food options are quite limited, especially for dietary needs, but I was still catered for and as we had self-catering accommodation and brought supplies with us it wasn't such a big deal so again, moreover a note of awareness rather than a dislike.

Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly. We had a nice big self-catering room with everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful views and good information booklet about the surrounding area in the rooms. Great value for money.

It's in the middle of a revamp so the hallway was a bit weird. On the other hand, book in fast before the revamp inevitably means justifiably higher prices.

Lovely quiet location. Amazing old trees. Very handy location between Helensburgh and Oban. We loved the four poster bed and the crisp white bedlinen. The kitchen had a proper cooker with ovens, not just a microwave. The bar was a proper local meeting place. My chap said that it was a very fine pint of Guinness and he enjoyed the company.

WiFi signal was a bit sketchy, we could only get a signal on one part of the property but we're used to this in rural locations and it didn't spoil our holiday.

The location was absolutely beautiful, the room was clean and comfy with everything you need to make yourself at home for a few days in beautiful Argyll. It's a really handy base for visiting Oban and Inverary.
