Lovely room, spotless. Excellent facilities in the room kettle, iron, hairdryer. Even had a fridge with water & milk. Breakfast delivered to your room in a basket was also a cute touch. Host was very welcoming & friendly. On-site parking was also a bonus.

My husband likes a cooked breakfast, although continental breakfast beautifully presented in basket brought to room.

Very beautiful room. Spotless. Good facilities Iin room..kettle, cafetiere, plenty of tea ,coffee and milk in fridge. Owner very friendly and welcoming. Parking a huge bonus.

Location only a 10 min walk to the centre of Whitby. Great hosts, nothing too much trouble Parking on site. Tasty continental breakfast Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed.

The host was so welcoming, advised us of where to visit, and where not. The breakfast basket was beautiful and so much in there very cute. The room was very big and clean. Bed super comfy. Location was perfect.

Would have preferred a cooked breakfast, didn’t realise this wasn’t an option when booking. Found our room a little small, perhaps so much storage not required for short breaks would give more space, also a little cold in the evening but I’m sure Mick would have put the heating up we just didn’t like to ask. The Steep walk down to the town a little much for us.

Nice clean and well looked after property, thoughtful & very accommodating host.

Amazing! Loved the room and the decor. Enjoyed the breakfast basket. Lots of different items and very filling. Not far to walk down to the harbour and spaces to park out the front of house. In our opinion the best b&b in Whitby.

Was a present for my mum and partner and they had a fantastic stay, pretty much faultless. Everything was brill, other than banging there head on the ceiling a few times and their knees on the bed end, which is their own daft fault, it was great!

Breakfast was really lovely, thoughtfully presented and lovely homemade produce with plenty of variety. Lovely clean room, very good facilities, warm and comfy, staff were brilliant, very welcoming and accomodating and most of all friendly, thank you.

Mick is wonderful! Anchorage House is beautiful and we felt so very welcome. The breakfast was lovely - delivered to the room in a picnic basket and left outside the door. It was delicious and beautifully presented. Would absolutely recommend it and will be back, for sure!

The room was excellent and had everything we needed, including a fridge. The owners were very welcoming and had recommendations for places to go. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk at most. Having a parking space was really useful. The breakfast was lovely, presented in a wicca basket and left outside the room door. There was a table and chairs in the room to eat your breakfast at. We just loved it and will definitely return.

Great location. Only a few minutes walk into Whitby town. We stayed in room 3. A well presented , lovely room with En-suite. Plenty of room , very clean. Own ironing board and iron. Had a fridge that had fresh milk to make teas and coffees. Table and 2 chairs where we ate our breakfast, delivered to the room after selecting our options the previous evening. There is plenty of choice on the breakfast menu. The host ( Mick) was perfect ! He also shared his local knowledge and recommended pubs , restaurants, walks etc. which helped us make the most of our weekend. Will definitely be returning ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Extremely comfortable and clean room, very friendly and informative host. Breakfast delivered in a basket from a tick box menu provided each morning -different! but good. Location excellent and on main bus routes.

Lovely Friendly B & B spotlessly clean. It was great to have fresh milk for drinks and our breakfast arrived neatly packaged in a wicker basket. Highly recommended and we will stay again. Its literally a 10 minute walk into Whitby too. Thank you
