Musty damp smell and creaky floors.

Upgraded to a larger room for absolutely no reason! Staff were very friendly, professional and polite. The large room was beautiful (looks recently refurbished) the only complaint would be the damp musty smell in the bathroom and the creaky floors. The bed was super comfy.

They had run out of supplies so the meal my husband wanted was unavailable and he is coeliac so it was one of the 3 options left. The other two were both curry’s so it would have been good for another gf choice. They didn’t bring the right burger for me but I didn’t say anything as it was still good. I just would have preferred it without the barbecue sauce as I am diabetic.

Breakfast was good. We had the cooked breakfast which was hot unlike many other establishments we have had breakfast at where it was warm and got cold before you were finished.

I arrived at 5pm and was told that my room wasn't ready yet due to staffing issues. I was offered a cup of tea while waiting in the nicely decorated lounge/dining room, which helped make the wait more tolerable

Comfortable hotel that has recently been renovated to high standards. Quiet location, yet convenient for main roads. Good quality breakfast available to purchase separately.

Air con not working.Room was very hot.The fan was old and no help.Didnt get any sleep and had to use wet towels to keep cool. Was moved for my 2nd night where air con worked.

The air conditioning did not work and due to being located very close to the motorway it was too loud to leave the windows open to allow cool air into the room.

The room was very modern which we liked. The bed was also very comfy and the bathroom was clean!!

The size of the room was small. The water pressure was very low. Had to ask for towels as there wasn't any in the room when checked in.

The young lady on reception was a credit to the hotel. She gives fantastic service.

Poor sound insulation. Noisy guests above us and doors banging kept us awake. No mirror in the bedroom No extraction fan in bathroom Towel rail in bathroom had wires cut and left? No housekeeping? Not sure if that is the policy but no one explained if it is. No water glasses. Not big stuff but things like glasses and a bedroom mirror would make a difference.

Location is great. Staff friendly. Food was decent and tasty. Great shower.

There were snagging that had not be addressed. Mainly electrical problems. Bad electrician I believe. First room we were given very cold no heating and bear wires hanging out of bathroom towel rail. We were given another room which also didn’t have working heating she came to do heating but it only blew out cold air there was a small radiator which worked fine. The bed side lights flashed continually so we could not use. BATHROOM TOWEL RAIL NOT WORKING. No maid service for next day so towels not changed and still wet from no towel rail had to ask for clean towels. Only 2 bath towels no hand towels. Ask for hand towels we were left 2 floor towels for shower. No telephone to phone reception had to use Mobil and phone hotel. Very little staff only 3 seen. They were new. One just started she tried but made things up as she went along. The other just a month. Didn’t get chance to ask the other because she was like a busy bee around the place. Really nice staff really tied their best but very under trained. I really felt for them. They had just be thrown in the deep end and couldn’t swim. Saying all that I would give them another try cos I believe there were all teething problems.

Very noisy next to a busy road. Breakfast was chaos. No fried eggs, they kept running out of everything . We had to have our breakfast in stages, bacon and sausage , 10 minutes later hash browns and scrambled egg arrived then five minutes later the mushrooms. They ran out of orange juice , milk and bread. Should really of asked for a refund on the breakfast
