I booked for the wrong date and only realised the evening I had booked for. I phoned and my booking was rearranged for the date I really wanted with no problem or fuss

There is a little noise from the street but you get used to it.

Had a wonderful stay with Karen. She is a kind and helpful hosts and the little hut was perfect. A relaxing, pretty garden with an adorable bonus dog, Milo, who steals your heart. Will definitely stay again!

My only difficulty was parking nearby so i couldnt carry all my things in as i had too much. Travelling alone I get a bit nervous and so arriving and striffling with parking then worrying about what id booked. But as soon as i arrived everything and everyone including the dog was amazing. Really welcoming.

It was beautiful, the room was lovely. The people running it were lovely. Breakfast was amazing.

Not as welcoming as you would expect although Karen who welcomed me was nice but also distant.I confirmed breakfast at 9am yet in the morning she thought I didn’t want breakfast! I was confused but polite and Karen did do a lovely breakfast. Mixed feelings about this place,,,could be so much better if we hey took the business seriously:

Lack of clarity when booking. Not clear that shared bathroom meant rooms in house while the depicted/advertised wooden huts we thought we were getting were the en-suite variation. We were able to upgrade, but would have been able to do more helpful cost comparisons with other offers if the situation had been clear from the start.

Wooden huts were great. Very helpful hostess, packaged us breakfat the evening before as we expected to have an early start. Location quiet during the night. Very comfortable beds.

It got a little cold when I was there, but the duvet was enough to keep me warm. The reason I give this an 8, is because the hut was quite damp, which wasn't so comfortable. The shower could be better, but I understand why it was small and electric because of this being a hut.

The idea of having little huts in the backyard is quite a nice one and I liked having my own space. The location is also great a 15-20minute walk both from the city center and the race course. The host was lovely and allowed me to store my bag before the room was ready as I arrived before the check in time. The breakfast was also nice and freshly cooked. It was possible to choose from a list of options, including different types of eggs, fried beans, toast, etc.

A larger range of breakfast would have been welcomed. A small cabinet in the room would be useful.

A very nice welcome. I stayed in an outbuilding which was comfortable and warm. Good views of the garden with the added bonus of a stable style door. I was offered an upgrade but did not require it. The check out time of 11oclock was very welcome. Location was OK. Close enough to the High Street.

A few bits of on going maintenance needed to sharpen things up.

Alice rang in the morning to check my arrival time and was waiting for me. She had upgraded me to a double bedded cabin (I’d booked the budget single). The room was warm and cosy with a cool Moroccan vibe. The bed was comfortable and there was an en-suite shower and kitchenette with tea & coffee facilities. A continental breakfast was offered although I didn’t take it up. Thank you Alice.

The floor is quite creaky. To be fair that is to be expected of an old property.

I liked the big, comfortable bed! The value was amazing, me and my partner had a great stay! The owner was sweet and friendly despite not actually being called Alice haha

Unfortunately the shower head didn't seem to be able to stay in holder but that was only fault/issue which I'm sure is just a job in process although I didn't ask the question if I'm honest

The room was lovely and quaint with a comfy bed and lovely view of the garden Breakfast was enjoyable too :)

I was woken up both nights very early to loud music playing. I dont know where it was coming from so not the fault of the b and b.

The owner was really friendly and hospitable. The room was really nice and well presented, and the shared bathrooms were kept nice and clean.

Some long life milk to make tea with in the room would've been the icing on the cake, apart from that no complaints!
