Whilst it was evident that the bathroom had been upgraded, the bath panel was delaminating which detracted from the overall appearance. Small bed

Shower in the room didn't work properly so the shower in the morning wasn't sufficient. The knob to transfer the water up to the shower head was faulty so we ended up having to kneel down to shower.

Room was excellent and the facilities were great. Breakfast was nice and the staff all very friendly and helpful. Location superb.

A quieter room. When I asked if our room was away from traffic, as it is beside the main road, I was told ‘we haven’t had any complaints bout the room so far’. We arrived for breakfast 30 minutes before closing and had to ask for plates.

Location to village and bus / train. The Bistro lounge staff were very good.

Hotel interior needs a little TLC, they were out of clean facecloths/washcloths the whole time, just a bit "meh" overall. Cheap soap in bathroom, no lotion or extras. I went and bought my own shampoo at Tesco as I wasn't feeling the single tube "shower gel/shampoo" available in the shower. Poor lighting in the room. Could be a nice property again if they put $ in the right areas. Breakfast was a little sad too.

    Nice staff, good location

I was disappointed with the breakfast. The food was reasonable that's if there was any there. For £14.50 per person shouldn't be running out of eggs, beans, haggis etc. It wasn't busy either unless a bus load of people had just left before us. I'm not sure

Good location in town and good room

Overal good hotel with no big issues - has high turn over of coach groups.

We found our room very warm despite turning radiator off and having window part open all of the time during our stay. The hotel was very accommodating allowing us to store our mountain bikes in a first floor meeting room. However that meant we had to "walk" them up the main staircase. We were considerate to the hotel and wiped our bikes down as far as practicable but dropping rain water and some mud/grass on the stairwell carpet was unavoidable. This hotel has a high turnover of coach tour guests so maybe (as cyclists) we are a minority group so this bike storage arrangement is currently their best option. Finally a bit of feedback - on our last two days, the main toaster machine was broken. It was replaced by a 4 slice pop up type but with large tour groups in breakfast a same time, it was way too slow - at the very least get two pop up machines.

I liked its location at end of main high street close the central area for bars and restaurants. Our room #216 was clean and comfortable with good en suite bathroom. Room was serviced every day as expected with fresh towels. The buffet breakfasts were a little better than the standard purple hotel chain. Staff in reception/bar/restaurant were all friendly and hard working. The hotel provided a secure place to store our bikes and had plenty of car parking. We ate just the one night in the main restaurant and found the food and service to be very good.

The Wi-Fi never worked for us. The front desk said that it happens to a lot of Americans (not sure why!) but that was inconvenient as we were trying to make travel plans.

The location was great! It was a 5-minute walk from the train/bus station and easy to get into town. There was coffee and tea provided in the room which we appreciated. The bed was okay but not the most comfortable!

Noisy. We asked for a quiet room and were on a major roadway. Could also easily hear other rooms, walls / floors a bit thin. Needed earplugs.

We struggled to get the shower to work but managed to fix the bath eventually. We didn't report the issue as we were only staying one night. The hotel therefore were not given the chance to put it right so not complaining.

Great location as we were at the mountain bike championship at Ben Nevis and we only had to walk a few minutes to get the bus. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Food and service in the restaurant was exceptional and ra like clockwork

The furnishings were dated and threadbare in locations. The comforter had a fairly large hole in it. Everything still felt very clean and comfortable, but perhaps less luxurious. We paid for the breakfast, which I would honestly skip. It was fine, but for the price, I'm sure you could get something better nearby.

Excellent location and spacious room. This was right next to the "parade" in Ft William, with lots of shops and restaurants within a minute or two walk. Our GPS took us to the backside of the building and we had to navigate around to get to the parking, but it worked out. We loved the stone exterior.

The staff spent much of their time in the bar area complaining about a supervisor, and the fact that their was a meeting to be held between two staff members in which he should be made to say sorry for something he had done. I really did not want to hear about that as a guest, and I really did not want to have to hear staff telling each other what they would and would not say to managers when they had the meeting.

Breakfast was well organised and presented in a very nice way.
