Fan that had separate switch.

After initial use [on arrival] of ensuite light which connected to exhaust fan, I didn't use the light because it took far too long for the fan to stop working. If light used just before bedtime, wouldn't have got to sleep very easily. Otherwise the hotel was very good - bed was comfortable.

The room was clean ...but there was a very high smell of bleach in the bathroom which smelt in the bedroom even with the bathroom door shut.. even in the morning you could still smell it in the bedroom..

The toilet had a terrible smell which made the room smell unfortunately. We paid £53 so we knew what to expect with the room but shouldn't have to deal with such a bad smell all the time. We closed the bathroom door which helped however the room smelled every time we opened the door.

The room was small but had everything we needed. Perfect for the price paid. It was clean and the location was fantastic. The pub itself below was large and the staff were very helpful. No noise issues either with people leaving later.

Stayed here as it was quite close to a wedding venue we were at (Wootton Park) decent rooms and a large pub attached that does breakfast with reasonable prices . Very competitive price compared to other local hotels and B and Bs

Can be a bit noisy late at night. Smokers congregate outside the main entrance, and also wait for taxis/pick up at the end of the night. No food available on Sundays. Wasn’t notified beforehand, so had to get a sandwich from the local Tesco.

Great location, with plenty of parking. Cheap cooked breakfast options, and evening meals. Free entertainment most evenings.

Bathroom a bit of a squeeze but adequate in every other way. Would like breakfast a little earlier from. 07.30 so I could enjoy that and get to work on time!

Staff friendly, clean room, good shower. Patrons of pub were respectful. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and good value.

The pillows were flat and we needed more but none were available. Not a big deal but I do like a fluffy Polly.

The location was great. The price was very reasonable. It was clean. We did have to carry luggage up the stairs because there was no lift. The food in the pub was really good and well priced.

My daughter is gluten free. Whilst staff did everything to accommodate this, it seemed like an unusual ask, and a challenge. It was mentioned that they were going to improve on this, and create a Gluten Free menu - this is a must - this should be the norm nowadays, rather than dining being somewhat of a challenge. I would also expect that when the setting is fully booked with rooms, perhaps ask if guests will be ordering breakfast, and rota staff in accordance - breakfast was busy, and slow, although well worth the wait!

Room was clean and food was great. Busy 'social club' building with rooms attached. That said, there was no noise from around 11pm so sleep wasn't disturbed. Lots of parking available.

The heater in the room did not work, there is no usb for charging your phone, general decor is a bit tired.

The staff were very friendly, I was allowed to have my room early and the bar area and food were very good value.

Perhaps a room freshener in case the drains smell again and a small shelf in the bathroom to put your washbag on, but otherwise all good thank you and would stay again if needed.

Although there was a slight drain smell in the room everything was clean and met our expectation. The bed was comfy and it was quiet. Parking was good. The staff were all friendly and efficient as it was quite busy when we arrived but check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was just what we needed.

Live music till fairly late, however it wasn't too loud. I was a bit worried it would keep me up and If I'd wanted an early night I might not have been too impressed, but on the whole it didn't bother me too much. I think there is live entertainment most nights so you might want to bear this in mind.

Staff were super friendly, price was superb. Plenty of car parking. Room was decent sized and clean with all the facilities I would want at the price.

Some minor damage in the room mainly to the shower. But nothing that impacted the stay. You may struggle if you need complete darkness to sleep as our blinds let in a bit of light.

Great price for a single night stay. Basics are covered - clean rooms (some small minor damages, to be expected in a budget option but clean none the less) beds are comfortable - tea/coffee in room also. Staff are great in the bar area - despite being rushed off their feet they remained polite. They also seem helpful in trying to solve issues as my daughter accidentally left a teddy but they are communicating and hopefully can find a safe return home!

We weren't aware that that the hotel holds a disco on the Friday night and a live band on the Saturday night. We were also above the kitchen with the ventilation system outside our window, so we only had one good night's sleep out of three.

A well-priced hotel in a convenient location for visiting the Cotswolds' and Warwickshire. The room and bathroom were clean and bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food well priced.
