Feels very basic but as it’s not expensive not the worst thing. Communal area not very welcoming, but we didn’t need it.

Corridors smelt quite smokey?... Perhaps need some air fresheners around.

The bathroom could do with a bit of updating, the shower pressure was a little weak and I personally would like a fridge, but I understand that’s not a normal thing to have

The bed is not very comfortable, but if you are as tired as us after hiking is perfect

Is a good value for money, the bed was big.. no fancy mattress or pillows but comfortable enough. Everything was clean expect for a hair in the sheets. TV and kettle with coffe and tea were available

Hallway smelt of cigarettes and very thin walls

Warm and cozy room. Our stay was during the cold spring days, so we appreciated the radiator worked well and could be set to any level of heating required.

Nothing to dislike for the money we paid.

Very close to town and beach. Nice large comfortable room. Good room service we had a knock on the door after the first night to see if we needed more toilet rolls or tea and coffee e.t.c. check in was easy and getting the parking permits.

I liked that the beds and pillows are comfortable, The location is right at the pier with a view of the ocean from bay windows. The shower is excellent. The style of the hotel and room are vintage in good way. Close to beach and restaurants. 15 minute walk from train station. Good TV channels, also kettle with tea and coffee.

The pressure in the shower was fairly weak, so a longer-than-usual shower was necessary, and no bath mat or hand towel were provided, just a single towel. The decor is a little tired and shabby overall - worn carpets, faded soft furnishings, and the walls are quite thin, so if you're a light sleeper pack earplugs. No wifi in the rooms wasn't a problem for me, but guests with a less robust data plan might find it challenging, so would want to make arrangements to mitigate it.

Really well situated hotel, very close to the town centre and the beach. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and the room was functional, with a TV and kettle. For the price point, the value is good.

The musty smell in reception.

The bed was so comfy extra pillows added.bonus. bathroom on small side. Entertainment male.singer was.good. Friendly staff cheap bar prices. Close.tonl.pier and town was a.bit of a.musty smell in reception area. All.in all a lovely stay will definitely be back

The room, although bright and clean, was a little dated.. I'm sure the quilt was a single one in a double cover, but it wasn't a problem for us.

The hotel could do with some TLC and it’s a shame WiFi is only in the downstairs communal areas and not the rooms.

The staff are great and very accommodating and our room was very clean and had everything we needed.
