Parking is tricky on the small road outside the cottage. and access to the premises is via a narrow road, that said we didn't run into any vehicles descending when we were ascending or vice versa.

Beautiful cottage, modern yet rustic with great views out towards the mountains and over the village. The living room is a wonderfully place to be when the log burner is fired up, and so is the large fully equipped kitchen. The bed in the master bedroom was lovely and comfortable and the effort put in to make the cottage homely and inviting really makes it a wonderful place to be on a windy rainy night.

Everything was super perfect... Just took us some time to find the cottage

Affalon is a highly equipped cottage set in a very peaceful area enjoying stunning views. The cottage was very clean , and included all amenities. The cottage is highly finished and truly a home away from home. I would highly recommend 🥰

The bed for me was ok but I prefer a firmer mattress, also if you want a meal out you have to go out , as the village had no tea rooms or restaurant's there is a pub, but it's only open certain times, we had a lovely meal in the royal oak hotel in Betsey coed, only 12 minute drive from village and Conwy falls cafe is open from 9 am 5 pm most places do shut early , so make sure if your cooking for yourself you take plenty of food to cook, there is a shop in village ( Londis)

Lovely clean little gem of a cottage, idyllic and peaceful, waking up every morning to the beautiful scenery, a welcome basket was also a lovely little touch, did have an innciddent trying to work boiler, but phoned Lyn and she was very helpful nothing was to much trouble, lovely neighbours also helpful

The location was idyllic and perfect for exploring North Wales. The cottage itself was absolutely delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.

The parking is a little tight on one of the nights I had to park down the road and walk back as the neighbouring house had occupied the space

The cottage is excellent, comfy beds, well maintained

We had a wonderful stay at Afallon. The house was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Located on a hillside with views across the valley. The appliances were top notch from the kitchen to the beautiful bathroom and shower. Parking was very simple outside the property. Thank you so much, we can highly recommend it.

The location is fantastic with lots to do in the local vacinity. The house is a real gem and had all the facilities that you could need and it was spotless

The wood burning stove didn't work so well when we tried to use it.

The cottage is beautiful, with a panoramic view across fields and towards mountains. The whole place was super clean and cosy, the rooms were nicely decorated and the beds extremely comfortable.

Check-in time should be around 11am.

Front bedroom was very nice because of the size as well as view from the window. Also, we quite like the living room featured with traditional fireplace.

The cottage is beautiful and equipped with everything you need whilst you're away on holiday (including good wifi for the teenagers!). I particularly liked the handy guide to amenities and the lovely welcome basket which contained useful things: bread, butter, jam, milk, tea bags etc. Plus delicious Welsh cakes, I enjoyed these with a brew sat out on the patio in the morning sunshine. The village shop and pub are a short walk down the hill and there are plenty of footpaths to explore. The cottage is very peaceful with just the sound of birds and sheep.

The neighbour parked a white van in front of the property that was spoiling our view throughout the stay.

The location is spot on for all local attractions. It’s very close to Conwy Falls, Betws-Y-Coed, Conwy, Zip World etc. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully furnished and equipped with Welsh ornaments and condiments. Beds are very comfortable and the quality of sleep is 10/10, all you can hear in the morning is sheep bleating. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, bread, Welsh cakes and jams were provided and it was a real breakfast treat. A true Welsh oasis of peace and tranquillity. I couldn’t recommend it more. Thank you, we had an unforgettable break!
