Lovely experience, we felt pampered in a gorgeous snug environment. Great to see what an be done to preserve a unique historic cottage. Holmfirth is a great place to visit with lots of options to eat out.

Where do I start? from the informative messages regarding check-in, to the prompt replies, the actual stay and the check-out; the process and the property itself were such that I am happy to recommned it to friends. I frequently stay away for weekends, and it is rare that a property ticks all the boxes. Pie Cottage does just that. The images you see on the website are accurate, the comfort, the cleanliness, the attention to detail, everythink was spot on.

It was all beautiful.

This was a rare find. Such a gorgeous cottage that was furnished to perfection. If you are remotely creative you will find this to be a little piece of heaven! Seriously comfortable, cosy and quaint. Communication throughout was superb. I wouldn't hesitate booking again and would recommend this to anyone.

It was like staying in a 5 star cottage with all the facilities and all the extras. The quality of everything in the cottage was outstanding. Gina was an exceptional host. We will definitely stay again.

A cosy little cottage with everything you need. Quirky and cute are two words I would use. Gina is a fabulous host who keeps in touch during your stay. A few nice little touches from Gina made our stay even better. It's just a short walk into the centre. We will be using this base again. Love it ❤️

We loved everything!

The cottage was absolutely stunning with the most beautiful furnishings. They were all either antique or thrift shop findings. All high quality items so fitting to the cottage. Our host, Gina was very helpful and was always available should we need anything, even down to recommending a reliable taxi company. There were little touches, such as Yorkshire tea, biscuits and fresh flowers that made the cottage feel like home. We loved our stay, it was a little enclave away from the real world. So clean and quirky but with a real feel of history too. We didn't want to leave and would 100% look to booking Cottage Pie again, we just hope word doesn't get out! :)

There was not a thing not to like. Could not fault the host or property in any way.

Beautiful 17th century cottage full of character and comfort. Very homely, excellent facilities. Host lovely really helpful and warm welcome. Very thoughtful to customer's needs. Filled with thoughtful little luxuries to make your stay special. Would highly recommend staying at 'Cottage Pie'. Enjoyed the experience very much and would love to stay again.

The cottage has everything you could wish for. Gina has done an amazing job of making this a really cosy home from home. Such lovely touches and fantastic style. Beautiful styling of the outdoor area too, just a gorgeous cosy place all round.

The cottage is in a beautiful village. It was so welcoming and warm and smelled amazing on arrival! There was a talking point in every room. It was cool and quirky and quite literally had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Couldn't fault it,we had such a comfortable stay.

WOW...this is a home from home experience (and better!) When I saw the 10/10 rating, I was excited. However, when we arrived we were astounded! The cottage is divine and far exceeded our expectations! It smells gorgeous, looks gorgeous and feels so special! All the added touches (sweets, real flowers, burners, candles, coffee pods, treats etc!) made it super special and very personal. I LOVE THIS COTTAGE and will return! NOTHING has been missed :) I would highly recommend as I still miss it now a week on! I actually had a tear in my eye when we left! Gina is a very special lady and a very special host! Her communication and attention to detail is 10/10. A gem (both Gina and Cottage Pie!) A very special place and experience. Thank you x

Furniture was amazing, cleanliness was an equal 10/10, and beds super comfy. Gina added her lovely little touches everywhere you'd look at. Such a well thought out and beautiful space - there's no question we'd be coming back again, and the only regret is that we didn't stay for long enough!
