Due to the caravan being away from the road, it was quite muddy to walk to from the road when it had been raining. The beds were not the most comfortable that we have had in caravans before. But these are all minor issues and not major issues

It was a lovely spacious caravan, easy access to everywhere within a few minutes walk. Had everything that you need.

No light outside on balcony, was very warm even at night and would have been an advantage, also no bedside lamps, otherwise could not fault

The location was absolutely fantastic, with a 3 year old child and a dog was walkable everywhere, caravan was lovely, weather was brilliant would def book again

Only criticism I have is you can’t park your car near the caravan.

Caravan was nice and clean, it’s location on the site was quite and safe for the children to play.

Double quilt was very thin and old TV was opporated manually by small buttons on side of TV..

10 OUT OF 10 location was amazing cleanliness 10 Out of 10 caravan got out with everything needed for a stay. kids loved watching the rabbits running round the grass in the evening we couldn’t have asked for a better break

Fantastic location within great walking distance of fantastic island. The caravan was situated to the back the caravan park so it was quiter. It was a spacious caravan which mey our needs well. The kids loved their stay here and the fact it was roomy. Perfect for our little family get away.

Tv was quite small but not a massive problem! Couldn't park outside van but again, not a big problem.. car park was pretty close by anyway

Location was spot on, comfy 3 bedroomed caravan with plenty of room. Communication with owners was fab! Pleased everything went smoothly and would book again in the future. Kids enjoyed their Halloween holiday, thank you

I have a small dog & thought the veranda would have a gate & enclosed so he couldn’t get out , he did on the 1st day , so we couldn’t use the veranda unless dog was tied up or barricade the holes & make our own gate

There were no curtains/blinds in the bathroom, kitchen or main area of the van. (Just the bedrooms) There were net curtains but at night with lights on these did not offer any privacy especially when the main road and path looks down on to the van. You had to use the toilet in the dark so the rest of the campsite couldnt see you through the glass. This may not bother some people, my other half was fine with this, I would of liked to have had more privacy. To have a shower i had to put a large towel over the shower screen and open the screen so it was against the window of the bathroom to cover it so that nobody outside could see through. The van was freezing at night as it didnt have central heating, only a blow heater which we had to place between the 2 bedrooms with doors opened against each other to heat the rooms enough for us all to get ready for bed. It was unsafe to leave this on overnight so we didnt get much sleep during the night when the temperature dropped even more. My other half was up at 4.30am as he couldnt sleep. Heavy blankets were provided in the van obviously for this reason but they were made of microfibre which irratate my skin and attract every little bit of fluff or hair possible so they didnt look very clean to use and unsure of how often these were dry cleaned. We didnt cook in the van so cannot comment on any of the facilities in the kitchen, we ate out for the 3 days, other than having cereal in the mornings. Overall after the van had been double booked due to issues between the caravan company and Booking.com the company were able to let us hire the promenade van so we didnt have to let the children down. Other than it being cold at night and the issue with privacy, it was a nice little van and did the job for a nice cheap weekend away to waste money in the arcades and enjoy fantasy island which was a stone throw away.

The caravan company were brilliant with keeping in contact regarding this Review is for Promenade Van The location to fantasy island was perfect and location to beach was perfect. You could get straight to the beach from the site and saved money on car parking for fantasy island being a stone throw away. Watching the volcano ride whilst getting ready to go out was quite fun and the kids loved being so close to watch people's reactions! The van was a nice little lay out, enough space for a 3 night stay for 2 adults and 2 children. Great little dining table to sit around and play cards with the family which we enjoy whilst being away. Caravan company very accommodating. Next time i book with them i will definitely go direct and read the specs properly on the van as you will see below the promenade van wasn't all as I would of liked it to be.
