There was nothing we didn’t like. However I did notice there was very little sitting out space.

Position was 10/10. Warm and welcoming - a feeling of home from home. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds, hand and bath towels provided. Two bathrooms and good size bedrooms. It’s a three story house so would probably not suit anyone with mobility issues.

This isn't a negative, just a reminder. The house is on 4 levels, so it's not ideal if you have mobility issues.

Location, comfort, and elegance are all packed beautifully into a stunning holiday home. Everything you could ask for and more. Excellent host and wonderful facilities. For a family of 5, this offered plenty of space yet still felt cosy.

Not much, the car park space was close by and I would publicise that extra cheap car parking also available in Sainsburys. I would put some nice winter plants in the pots outside in the little courtyard area so it’s a nice view from kitchen window and to sit outside.

Location fantastic, lovely to hear the bells from the Minster. Home lovely, spacious. Good kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely bedrooms, hairdryers a bonus. Well equipped kitchen.

This is an old property so it’s hRd to keep on top of the maintenance so a couple of damp patches but no smell of damp and lovely and clean

Everything was perfect for us, however the stairs on this 4 level property might not suit anyone who has mobility issues.

Fantastic greeting at the property from Mark. Extra touches such as chocolate cake, milk and prosecco were much appreciated! Lovely, comfortable accommodation in the perfect location. Would definitely recommend, we will be back!

Mark was an exceptional host very helpful he couldn't have done any more for us with instructions on getting to the property and arranging to meet us there to show us around. All cleaning up and washing up liquid dishwasher tablets tea coffee etc were provided plus a few treats a lovely chocolate cake and a bottle of prosecution Included. The location is 1 in a million it couldn't have been any closer to The Minster and other tourist attractions it was brilliant. We highly recommend this property and really hope to go back again. Another bonus Mark let us use the property early as he hadn't had anyone in before us we loved all the space and the history off the House. 10++

House set on different levels not an issue for us but stairs could be an issue for less mobile.

Nothing. Glass collection from the pub next door at 05.30 each morning was a bit loud but went back to sleep afterwards as location was so peaceful otherwise.

Great house, full of character. So close to all amenities in the centre of York. Very peaceful most of the time and loved hearing the Minster bells ringing during the day. Full equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Mark, the host, was so helpful and kept checking in with us to make sure everything was ok. A really lovely place to stay.
