Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomEverything had to be cleaned before it could be used. I had asked for bedding - I know it was a late booking however if its not available it shouldn't be on the booking form. Dirty paw marks up the doors and walls and there was juice down the front of one of the kitchen doors. There was grease everywhere. The bottom of the bathroom door looked as though it had been chewed. There were cobwebs throughout and accompanying spiders. The TV was programmed to BBC 2 and the remote needed new batteries. The hoover provided had to be cleaned out to get a little suction as it was obvious that this had been used on wet sand. I informed the proprietor that new filters were required for the hoover and that the van had been left in a much cleaner condition than when we arrived. Photographs before and after were taken. The journey was taxing enough as I have disabilities but to have to clean the caravan when we got there caused my fibromyalgia to flare up badly. I spent the weekend mostly laying on the sofa (as it was more comfortable than the bed in the main bedroom). After that I found I could do a little bit each day but even that took all of my energy to the point I had to call a friend to come and drive us home again. As they couldn't get until the Thursday evening my daughter and I took all day to pack the car and clean up before leaving. We left the caravan in a much cleaner state than when we arrived. I really don't think I'll be going back to that caravan again.
The park was nice and clean and apart from the weekend was reasonably quiet.

United KingdomThe beds are uncomfortable, when you first walk on to the decking it dips massively and same with the Caravan the floor is very unsteady and no bin anywhere in the Caravan
How close it is to fantasy island, easy to find, heater in the main bedroom and plenty of grass outside for little one to run around
