Very clean comfortable apartment. Kitchen facilities were excellent. You had everything you needed. Milk and chocolates were a very nice touch. Lovely clean towels and plenty of pillows.

No hooks in the bathroom. Had to decide between the floor and the closed lid of the toilet for my clothes, both those coming off and those going on.

Everything you could want in the bedroom (love the touch-sensitive bedside lamps), kitchen and living area. Perfect location for Acomb and getting into York itself

Some local information like taxi numbers would of helped & places to eat. also a small chest of drawers would of been good.

The location was great to get into York & were pleased to have the basics tea, coffee, sugar & milk.

There are only two reasons why we did not give 10 out of 10. One is the not too central location, that we knew of and for us caused no harm. The other thing was the fact that the shower trickled all the time (causing no further problems and no noise), a bed light was broken and the fridge was so iced that it made considerable noise (like a running washing machine in the neighbour apartment). These things could not be fixed during our stay of four nights (which would have been nice) but the very friendly owners said they'd get it solved instantly after our stay. So for the future there will be no problems.

It is a lovely little flat and by far the cleanest of already clean flats we stayed in during our holidays in Britain. The big windows make the flat light and cosy, even the sleeping couch was comfortable. The location a little outside the city centre (about 30 minutes walk to the Minster, 25 to the station). Still a lovely little park and a co-op supermarket that fulfills everyday needs. The hosts run the flat as a family even though not as a selfused holiday home it is not a big company behind it but friendly and caring people. As soon as we get back to York this apartment will most certainly be our place to stay!

It was very warm when we stayed, a fan in the room would have helped, as with the windows open the noise from the traffic outside was pretty loud.

I would say that the apartment is only big enough for 2 people, we did struggle find places to store our stuff but it didn’t ruin our stay 😊

Apartment is in a great location, saw a few reviews of people saying it was further from the city centre than expected, however there is a bus stop right outside the apt (number 1) which is maximum 10 min journey into York centre which was great and cheap. Host was very quick to help with a few missing things from the apartment and got them dropped off to us.

The property is a bit further out of York centre (probably a good 30 - 40 minutes walk). There is a bus service but we found it difficult to make sense of the timetable on the York bus website, so some hard info would be very useful for guests I think

Excellent cosy little studio flat for 2 people for 10 days. Plenty of on street car parking nearby, and a Coop supermarket 3 minute walk away. There is a sofa bed in the KItchen/living area to accommodate 1 or 2 more guests but imo the flat might get a bit crowded if staying for longer than a couple of nights

The only thing i could think of is missing is a sweeping brush just to keep the kitchen area clean as opposed to taking the hoover out. But still great

It was easy to get into the building, but it took a few confusing moments to figure out how to get inside the flat. We reached out to the owner who was very helpful and everything was great! :)

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything was clean and cosy. The location is very good good- took me a few minutes by taxi to get there, and the bus stop towards the center is literally a few-second-walk away. Also- another good thing about the flat- it had everything in it, even the small things like bin liners, laundry-tablets, towels, toilet paper etc. :)

Space was a bit smaller than we expected from the photos, but I would stay again. Nicely done.

Good location, nice safe area, modern apartment, easy to access via lockbox, very easy free parking outside. Place was well equipped for what we needed.

Some local info, great places to eat etc and 'local' insider knowledge would have been lovely but we found our way around and had an excellent time.

The apartment was compact for four of us, but was everything we needed. I appreciated that there were basic supplies for washing up, as well as tea, coffee and milk! Communication from host was good, and the flat was beautifully and comfortably decorated. Smart TV and WiFi were useful in the late evenings when we got back (for uploading photos) and proximity was great We did over km of walking in 3.5 days, even the 10yo. Loved our stay and wish we could have stayed longer!

The property is awesomely clean and cosy. it’s just an upgraded version of a hotel. I’m just so pleased I booked this property instead of a known hotel. The neighbourhood is such a lovely sight, it is convenient to shops, the staff is so helpful with our queries too and the free parking is a big plus points too! Overall, my family is so happy with our stay, we were so comfortable in the place.
