    Few small pet hairs on dining seats but that's because I don't own pets and a welcome pack with WiFi code,taxi numbers etc would be handy.

    The welcome pack was not there to let guests know about all kinds of things like where the password for wifi is on the back of BT , how to use the TV or washing machine. Where good places to eat and drink are, dog friendly too ? The access to place are exterior metal stairs that have poor tread when wet . When do bins go out as the bin was rammed full before we got there ! Contact numbers in emergency ?

    The location was perfect with the high street across the car park, the fee of less than £6 a day if you pay online for the whole week. The place was very well decorated and furnished with all mod con. Lots of dog friendly places to eat and the beaches are dog friendly until May then there are designated ones after that.

    Confusing and stressful to get in, but the property itself and the owner were fantastic

    The property listing did not make it very clear and early enough that access is only via the car park TO THE REAR of 36 Mary Street. This info was buried in the section "how to get there" - as I traveled by train, I didn't read all of what appeared to be driving instructions. Also, the sign at the entrance to No.36 regarding 36A was worded ambiguously. Finally, it should be made very clear up front (rather than at the end of the "property features" list, which people will not always read to the end) that this property is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues - thankfully not my problem, but I still had to be careful climbing/descending the steep metal stairs in the rain. Three phone calls to Sykes Cottages over the course of 90 minutes (with long gaps in between) with three different people did nothing to resolve the confusion over how to access the property. It was the owner and her partner who were the most helpful/responsive in resolving the situation, once I got to talk to them (they called me after Sykes Cottages EMAILED them).

    The responsiveness of the property owner and her partner once they were made aware that there was a problem. The property itself exceeded my expectations.
