How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not a huge issue, but my room was not with a front view (tribunal de Paris). My view was backward to some sport center roof.
Nice room and modern interior design. Great lobby and breakfast area on 8th floor with amazing view. Excellent luggage storage area on -1 floor if you arrive early for the checkin - very convenient with restroom.

Not a single thing.
We loved the attention to detail at Zoku. If every city had a Zoku, that would be the only hotel I'd ever visit. Please open in other locations as well? Our apartment was more than we could dream about. A dishwasher, clothes line, hidden cupboards, clever postcards - you completely won us over.

Zoku is a really great hotel to stay in Paris. The rooms were designed to the last detail. We really liked the location as well. Very close to the metro station. Wonderful roofop and all spaces of the hotel were so elegant and modern as well. Not forget to mention about the lovely stuff.

ONLY ohne big „Decke“ in the bed, the very smal bathroom without a window, the street and the Baustelle were a Little Bit noisy. You can Not Open a Window.
Everthing Looks very nice. I Love the roaftop, how the working Spaces Look…now i know how schools should be designed. The room in -1 is Perfect for the Bagage.

Lighter blanket option
Location was excellent, the menu as well; room distribution fantastic and clever use of space, everything we needed at our fingertips. Sofa great for a senior w/difficulty to get to bed. Comforter was a little bit heavy temperature was not cold so lighter cover would be great. Will recommend to others for SURE👏🏼👏🏼

Location was a little out of the city but metro 13/14 was accessible (+ bus & trams) and there were construction work near the building that made it tricky at times but nothing direct!
Room was huge with tons of storage space, great facilities both inside and outside the room - really loved the co-working space. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, great transport links too.

The design of the room, setup for remote work inside the room, also makes the bed arrangement a bit difficult for mobile challenged people. The bed is up some stairs, that can wobble when climbing, making it a bit nerve wracking at times. In the middle of the night, climbing down unfamiliar stairs can be challenging, even for those not mobility challenged.
This hotel is designed for the business travel in mind, particularly the remote worker. The facilities are setup for easy working in the room with a small group, or on the main reception floor for larger groups. The location is very convenient at Porte de Clichy, across the street from the Tribunal de Paris.

The bathroom sink had a slight leak that was slightly annoying, although it didn't detract from stay.
The location beside the metro station was great and the hotel had fantastic bar/cafe on the top floor. The staff were very friendly and helped us settle in quickly. The room was very comfy with all amenities.

1. Housekeeper placed my sneakers and home slippers on the side table in the living room! (Had a rude shock when we arrived back @ apartment after first day out in Paris) 2. He/ she also removed my nightgown hanging in the bathroom and placed it on top of my (big) luggage ! (Horrors ! The luggage exterior is extremely dirty - having traversed on the baggage conveyor belts at various airports, shoved into baggage hold in the plane, and stacked below/ with other passengers’ luggage etc - you get the drift) 3. Do not mean to complain - but housekeeper should be trained not to move / shift guest’s belongings - but leave everything in its original place. Thank you.
Zoku gave very careful thought to practical but simple needs of guests. So appreciate ! E.g. sufficient hooks and racks in bathroom, a clothes line too, shelf (corner) to charge handphone etc, even space to store luggage and cabinet for shoes! Of course, the loft and stairs / bed is very cool - so well-designed ! 😉 Will not hesitate to stay at Zoku again ! And recommend to others too 😊 Zoku Paris also at a good location. Good spread for breakfast.

Having travelled extensively and stayed at many accommodations, we find this Hotel very unique. Absolutely loved the Interior design, very functional and well thought out. The staff were in incredibly accommodating and friendly. They made us feel so welcome. Loved the restaurant and coffee area. Quite honestly, we couldn’t fault anything. Thank you, Merci Beaucoup!
