Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe facilities were not open as we were out of season. The pool across the road is close but you require speedo type trunks (as most French places) so we did not use this.
Great location which was easily reached from the city centre. You can get the tram (around 10 mins) or walk which was around 2 miles . The unit we stayed in was well equipped, clean and comfortable though the seating area comfort wasn't that comfy. The unit had lots of dishes, dishwasher and a Gas BBQ for your use. The staff were very helpful so we purchased out Pass of Nantes from the reception area. The mini golf provided plenty of entertainment.

Everything you needed was in the cottage. Staff helpful. Entertainment every night. The magician was excellent. Food at the restaurant was lovely but could do with a bit more selection. Easy to get in to Nantes on bus or tram from right outside the site. New pool was lovely.

IrelandThe restaurant on site offers pizza to take away but it was not possible to order anything else from menu to take back to our accommodation which was a pity.
Close to tram for easy access to places of interest and sightseeing. Free access to a lovely swimming pool nearby. Lots of space for kids to run around and children's playground on site. Peaceful surroundings. Accommodation very clean and a good size for our family of 4 (kids aged 2 & 5) we stayed in Cottage Nantillais.

LithuaniaSince we spent the rainiest weekend at the camping, our house started sinking in the growing puddle. We wished to have tilted planks/ stones to reach the street, car-park spot , without stepping into water. yet, not a big deal, really.
Surely one of the nicest and best organised camping we stayed in. It was visible, that camping paid attention to co-ambiance with nature. Gardener/botanist must have had his say there. rare species, such as redwood, alley of Japanese zelkovas'-trees, etc. Secure, calm, clean camping site, very friendly and helpful personal, good restaurant, etc. Easy check-in - we came at 18.59, all the receptionists were about to end their shift, but there was a guy already waiting for the late-comers with the keys/ maps and ready to tell about the main rules, etc. He also gave the bracelets for the swimming pool (worked until 20.00) nearby.

United KingdomWhen booking the property is gave pictures of a lovely outside pool and did not say that this closed on a specific date. However, when we get there the pool was closed for the season. This was very disappointing as we were travelling with 2 young children and not flying home until 9pm the day we checked out. Had I had known this I would not have booked, as we specifically wanted a pool for the boys. There was access to an indoor pool across the road, but in 35c heat, we wanted to be in the sunshine. When I explained that this needs to be made clear on the website (lack of their own outside pool) I have know noticed that the narrative has changed in the website. Something they must have done very quickly. When we did look at the outside pool, it was small and not as pictured previously. Staff were unhelpful and not friendly in general. Apart from the guy who checked us.
Accommodation itself was lovely. We checked in late around 10pm by a lovely guy from behind the bar. Our 2 bed cabin was clean and very comfortable. Small things like no toilet paper let it down. On-site bar was suppose to be open until 11pm, however when we went to the bar at 10.15pm we were told the bar had just closed. I explained that we had traveled a few hours To get there so we were reluctantly served by a not very happy or friendly waitress.

IrelandThe pool is not onsite and is across the road and indoors. It was closed a lot due to stikes. When open, though, it was great for kids- They are in the process of building one on-site outdoors, which will be a much needed contribution as it's was so warm
Nice unit! Fairly spacious Beds are not very comfortable, but very clean. Playgrounds close to us. Bar was brilliant and staff where so attentive and nice we went there everyday. Really close to train which was short ride to centre so perfect

United KingdomFood in restaurant was shocking on the day we arrived. The next day looked a totally different standard but we didn’t risk it again. Ran out of lager and no plastic glasses to be able to enjoy a soft drink around the pool.
Very clean. 2 bathrooms in the chalet, private location and facilities clean. Staff very helpful and friendly, especially in reception. Ideal location for getting into the city, cheap public transport and mini golf/swimming on site good.
