Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BelgiumThe bathtub was still dirty. The extra pillow that was in the closet was dirty too. The breakfast was so bland, nothing there to eat. No omlet, scrumbled eggs or bacon. No ham or salami. The nutella is not real, its just some other chocolate brand they put in the bottle. Some of the guys at the reception were clueless and others were rude. Only the girls seemed to be helpfull.
The beds are comfy, the location is great if you are coming with the Flixbus. And in front of the hotel you also have a metro station to go to the city and do some sight seeing.

United StatesThe rooms are not the largest (but not as small as most hotel rooms in that category in Paris!) and I was traveling with a lot of luggage, so my room felt a bit cramped. A person with just a carry-on would probably not complain about the size of the room!
I needed to take a morning train from the Bercy train station, so I decided on this hotel because of its proximity. The room was exactly what you would expect from an Ibis Styles. It had all the basics you can find in a 3-star hotel. What was particularly good was the breakfast buffet (with a machine that presses fresh oranges to make juice!) and the staff. The manager was showing guests how the breakfast room “worked” and even greeted me upon departure; he could not have been kinder.

MalaysiaThe Bercy metro near me was shut down. So I had to always walk further to make any trips.
The room was clean and comfortable, very worthy of the price I paid. The front desk speaks good English, that’s a saviour for me. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and good. But I would wish for some warm food like fried eggs and sausage. A few very good restaurant just infront of the hotel. You obviously don’t get to feel the vibrant side of Paris such as Rue Montorguil or Monmartre. But it’s peaceful and quiet.

NetherlandsBreakfast could be better and changing from day to day. There was no cappuccino in the koffie machine. Depends on the time when you come for breakfast could be too busy and hard to find the table. I found a solution by waking up at 8 and then the breakfast area was nearly empty. Don’t recommend to eat breakfast between 9 and 11, especially at 10am, it’s too busy and you would need to wait for some food to restock, like croissants. They always the first go empty. And it takes for personeel some time to replenish them. It’s too loud in the room. You hear all the voices from outside. Anyone walking or talking, all the voices like if the window is open. I have checked few times and the window was closed, so it comes from a bad isolation. If you have a trouble to fall asleep, then take some ear plugs. For me it was not really a problem. I sleep like a baby anyway. But yeah, all the noise from outside might give you some disturbance.
The location is great, near metro and bus station. Also flux bus station is only 5 min walking distance. It takes around 15min to get to the centre. The room is ok. Personeel is nice and friendly. They checked me in earlier without any extra payments. I arrived at 7 in the morning and could already go in my room. There were NO any extra payments charged like a city tax etc. The water was pleasantly warm in the shower. Very comfortable pillows. After check out I could leave my luggage safe in a locker storage till the rest of the day. The lobby is spacious. Few elevators. You can check in 24/7. There is always someone at the reception.

SwedenThe cleaning - there was a bit of hair on the floor of our room when we arrived, looked like someone had cut their fringe or something. But the bed and everything else was neat and tidy. The ventilation made quite a lot of noise, even when we didn’t use the AC. The shower water was very tricky to adjust in temperature, and the temperature fluctuated during the duration of the shower. And the entire room stayed very humid after a shower, it was very noticeable when we arrived back to our room in the evenings.
