Wifi in the garden needs to be improved

Great location near the centre of the city. It has private parking which is nice considering that there's limited parking space in this part of the city. We were offered several rooms to choose from which also was a big plus.

The wifi connection was poor.

The hotel was located right in the city centre, just a 10 min walk from Gare de Tours. The amenities were decent and there was a lovely little garden outside to relax in. The owner was a lovely gentleman who gave us a warm welcome and helped us with train timings etc.

Since it rained every day for my entire visit, an umbrella at the outside table would have allowed me to use it more. But when I left, they said the sky was crying because I was leaving! How sweet!

I picked this place primarily for the location. I loved it because of the wonderful people there. They were very helpful with directions and suggestions. They were also very patient and encouraging as I practiced my French with them. The room was large and had the most comfortable bed! The kitchenette was a nice bonus. The room was clean and private. I had my own private garden area that featured blooming flowers and a fruitful lemon tree. I managed to resist the temptation to try one, but they smelled so good and they were so pretty. The breakfast looked and smelled delicious but my schedule kept me from trying it. The coffee was supurb. It is conveniently located a block off the main street and 5 minutes from the train station, so it was easy to access to food, shopping and travel. I always felt safe there. I would absolutely stay there again if I ever get back to Tours. Thank you for a wonderful vacation at my home away from home!!

The hotel is located in a very unsafe area. We had specially booked a hotel parking lot, but during the night the bikes locked to the car were stolen. When we arrived, the owner told us that the bikes were safe here and nothing is stolen here. The next morning - when the bikes were gone, he told us the exact opposite, that it was becoming increasingly unsafe in the area. He promised us that he would contact his insurance company, but then he never contacted me again, even though I wrote to him several times. Thanks for nothing. About the hotel itself: the room was already pretty run down. Also for this reason we would not come here again.

The loo was very badly placed in our bathroom. And no facility for coffee in the bedroom.

Our host couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful and charming. But the bathroom was really basic, and no drink or coffee facility in the bedroom. The wallpaper and curtains in the bedroom were pretty. We did not have breakfast there but it looked quite basic. The stairwell was stripped of paper and undergoing redecoration - it might be good to add that to the website.
