Pretty much everything met or exceeded our expectations. The spa facilities were very good.

Unless I'm really picky, there really isn't anything I could say.

My wife and I had a mini break at The Grand hotel. The room was really really lovely. We had a sea facing room and waking up to the sound of the waves and the view on to the beach was lovely. My wife is French, so that helps massively! But the staff were very helpful at all times. The Spa you can book for a 1 hour slot is superb. 100% recommend doing this.

The food was tasty but the male staff member in the restaurant looked very unhappy both times and that spoiled the experience. The food was great. The breakfast was very tasty.All the breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive.

Not a big fan of casinos, but it wasn’t very intrusive

Breakfast with a view. Great room on second floor with a terrace overlooking the beach. Well laid out comfortable room. Spa was complementary for one hour per day. Staff were super helpful and friendly.

Car park was hard to find they need directions

A Bit confusing to gain entrance to the car park as the road in front of the hotel was closed for pedestrian access, otherwise nothing

Last minute stay because previously booked hotel refused to provide a meal or even drinks, so didn't stay, so pleasantly surprised at this location who were more than welcoming, fitting us in and making us welcome

Small room, no space for suitcases. Inconvenient entry to lobby, from parking use slow elevator 1 flight up or stairs down the up again.

Can't think of anything

Loved the ample parking to the rear of the hotel in the centre of the resort . The beach was just over the road and really good access. The breakfast buffet was really good and served in the rooftop breakfast room with amazing views over the bay . I think the difference was the staff who were absolutely brilliant, from the check in team to the kitchen porters who all recognised the guests with impeccable manners .

Amazing service, very friendly, helpful staff, incredible quality linens, beautiful location with amazing views. Lovely rooftop spa and breakfast. Wish I could have stayed more nights!

Breakfast 20 Euro - excellent. Staff very good and helpful. Secure lockup for our bicycles. Lovely roof bar and restaurant with views over the bay.

Its a shame the original internal double staircase is not incorporated into the new design. The rooms could do with another set of hooks to hang clothes . likewise the bathroom could do with a further shelf by the sink and hooks to hang clothes. It is ambitious to have automatic curtain closing . I can not see that lasting intact ! Too fiddly and prone to malfunction. For the price paid was surprised not to have a mini fridge in room.

It was lovely to come back to a hotel I first came to as a child , prior to the Torrey Canyon disaster of 1967. and have visited on a number of occasions since with my family. I'm please the new owners have rebuilt it ambitiously and in keeping. The rooms are furnished well although perhaps not with families in mind - more "Kasino" goers: which is not us .

Don’t particularly like Casinos but that ultimately didn’t bother us.

We had a corner room with two large windows overlooking the beach. The view was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and a good size. Dinner at the J’oker Restaurant was very good. The Hotel is perfectly located to do trips on the Pink Granite Coast. Car parking was great. The Hotel is very secure with keyed entry to use the elevators so felt very safe.

We were surprised that there was no mini bar/fridge in the room. A bottle of water was provided, but tris wasn’t cold.

The location was excellent, Staff friendly and proficient. The food of a very high standard. The hotel was recently refurbished to a high standard.

We weren’t sure where to park when we got there. We ended up finding street parking a couple blocks away and walking back to check in. Maybe we missed the instructions regarding parking, but it might help to have it clearer in the registration process—there is actually a parking lot right behind the hotel for guests!

The staff was wonderfully friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and generously portioned (we couldn’t finish everything they provided as room service). We had a view of the beach and ocean and could hear the surf.

Hotel just reopened after renovation. Processes are not yet optimal and staff is still working out some issues here and there. also, parts of the hotel (or more precisely, areas connecting to the hotel) are still a construction site.

Location of this historic property is perfect. Right on the beach!
