My wife and I had a mini break at The Grand hotel. The room was really really lovely. We had a sea facing room and waking up to the sound of the waves and the view on to the beach was lovely. My wife is French, so that helps massively! But the staff were very helpful at all times. The Spa you can book for a 1 hour slot is superb. 100% recommend doing this.

Loved the ample parking to the rear of the hotel in the centre of the resort . The beach was just over the road and really good access. The breakfast buffet was really good and served in the rooftop breakfast room with amazing views over the bay . I think the difference was the staff who were absolutely brilliant, from the check in team to the kitchen porters who all recognised the guests with impeccable manners .

JerseyIts a shame the original internal double staircase is not incorporated into the new design. The rooms could do with another set of hooks to hang clothes . likewise the bathroom could do with a further shelf by the sink and hooks to hang clothes. It is ambitious to have automatic curtain closing . I can not see that lasting intact ! Too fiddly and prone to malfunction. For the price paid was surprised not to have a mini fridge in room.
It was lovely to come back to a hotel I first came to as a child , prior to the Torrey Canyon disaster of 1967. and have visited on a number of occasions since with my family. I'm please the new owners have rebuilt it ambitiously and in keeping. The rooms are furnished well although perhaps not with families in mind - more "Kasino" goers: which is not us .

We had a corner room with two large windows overlooking the beach. The view was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and a good size. Dinner at the J’oker Restaurant was very good. The Hotel is perfectly located to do trips on the Pink Granite Coast. Car parking was great. The Hotel is very secure with keyed entry to use the elevators so felt very safe.

United StatesWe weren’t sure where to park when we got there. We ended up finding street parking a couple blocks away and walking back to check in. Maybe we missed the instructions regarding parking, but it might help to have it clearer in the registration process—there is actually a parking lot right behind the hotel for guests!
The staff was wonderfully friendly and attentive. The breakfast was delicious and generously portioned (we couldn’t finish everything they provided as room service). We had a view of the beach and ocean and could hear the surf.
