Only thing I'd note is that the stairs up to the apartment, because of the age of the building are a bit 'twisty' & steep, so if you're hauling suitcases or have limited mobility or feet larger than size 11, go carefully, particularly when you go down!

Absolutely stunning location, on a lovely little square right next to the beautiful Cathedral. Apartment full of character, two good sized bedrooms, all the facilities you could want for a short stay. Free car parking on the square outside (nice!) and very close to the centre of town. Also, really great value for money, would certainly stay again, just for the view from the lounge across the square to the Cathedral.

The apartment smelled of cigarettes, the entrance hall was full of smoke, the towels and bedding smelt of cigarettes

The location is fantastic, 5 mins walk from bars and restaurants, 15 min travel from La Couple and the Blockhaust.

The bed linen really needs to be updated. It was really dowdy and old. The bottom sheet was ripped and had paint on it and the pillows were very poor quality. Such a shame as the bed itself was very comfortable although I would prefer it if the mattress had a mattress protector on it so it could be washed periodically. Honestly - spend a few euros on some nice white bedlinen and the whole feel of the bedroom would be massively improved. After all, many people rent a room or apartment simply to have somewhere to sleep so its a really important part of the package.

Very pleasant little apartment with plenty of space and everything you might need situated in the centre of town. There is a handy car park just around the corner (first side road to the right as you look at the property). The price was excellent so it seems a bit churlish to complain about anything but...

The smell of cigarette smoke as soon as you opened the front communal door, continuing all the way upstairs. Quite a bit of traffic up & down stairs considering only one flat above.

Lovely situation in a cobbled street with plenty of charm.

Stairs steep. Could only get some of electrics to work. Ceiling lights wouldn't come on. Checks fuse box. Arrived late so didn't feel comfortable contacting owner. Managed to make do with table lamps

Had to telephone several times and wait 45 minutes for key. No kettle. Bedding and towels smelled of cigarette smoke.

the bathroom could have been cleaner, and the communication with land-lady was totally chaotic (sent us to a wrong place, had complete chaos in her bookings).

Unfortunately during our stay there was work going on in the above flat even on a Sunday. Also the neighbor below kept us awake on one evening with loud music after 11pm.

We didn't receive our key collection instructions until just before arrival, so with a lack of roaming data this is problematic - luckily someone saw us looking lost and let us in. There were only 2 (beach-style) towels available for the 4 of us, no floor mat either. We contacted the property via message and were given 2 more random towels later on in the evening, but still no floor mat, so we ended up having to use one of the towels on the floor. The wifi details were handwritten and very difficult to decipher

Adequate car parking on the street outside the door, rooms were charming if a little more shabby than chic, full kitchen available. Cool entry way with very narrow, very steep stairs - luckily we only had overnight stuff with us.

Shortly after arriving I noticed the heater in the double bedroom wasn't working. I could not turn it on so messaged the owners via the Booking.com app as I know it translates into French. I did not get a reply. I booked this accommodation on the basis that it had 'free private parking available on-site' as stated in the description. On arrival this was not the case - there is free on-street parking. However, when I returned to the apartment on Friday evening with my family there were no spaces outside the apartment or in any of the adjacent streets, meaning I had to drive around for over 20 minutes looking for a space. I contacted the owners via the Booking.com app but had no reply. I was woken up at 1am on both nights by loud music coming from the flat below. Another reviewer stated the owner's son lives there, but I cannot not verify this. Finally, when leaving the key box code would not work, so again I contacted the owners via the Booking.com app to let them know where I had left the keys. They replied to thank me, so they had clearly chosen not to reply to my earlier messages... Overall, not the best experience so can't recommend.

The apartment was clean and well-equipped. The owner met us on arrival and was pleasant, although they didn't speak English and I don't speak French.
