Lovely area to stay

For 82euro out of season. No view. But great location I think was expensive. We stayed next door at hotel du golf. And rooms bigger

Fish restaurant....no fish,no moules ...half of menu not available. Breakfast...no coffee,no toast,juice ran out. Our 5th stay and restaurant has gone downhill. Room stunk of bleach,towels you could not dry yourself with( new but not laundered.)The noise from other guests was so high as corridors are like cells.No respect for others. A completely different feel to last time we were there sadly.

Comfy beds and pillows...room cleaner than previous.time when staying.reception staff and server polite.

Overcharged at evening meal by a large amount It was sorted as soon as I queried the bill however the amount of bill should have been noted by server as its a very highly regarded profession in france and they never use a note pad for order as in uk Menu in hotel and food not up to previous standard. (Does not excel in fish dishes as in previous years. No gambas or fish platter etc)

Room was good for the night. Nice restaurant and the breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Just by the beach. A nice walk along the promenade and 20 mins walking to thee City Hall. Check in was easy and efficient.

The toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet. Asked for it to be repaired but it would require a plumber rather than hotel staff. It wasn’t safe to sit on.

I had asked for an accessible room with adapted bathroom because I’m disabled. The room was accessible as it was on the ground floor but no provision at all for a disabled person. I was angry that they had not informed me of this so that I could have booked more suitable accommodation for my needs!

The room was fresh and clean. The staff very friendly. The staff in the restaurant very efficient and the food was very good!

It was a bit difficult to find our way to the hotel using Google maps but once we went round in a circle for a while we managed. We arrived very late and when you get in the lobby, it's not at all clear that the 24 hour reception is on the RHS, actually in the restaurant. We ended up calling the hotel and then the receptionist came out of an unmarked door which was the entry to the restaurant and reception. Because a lot of people staying here are presumably crossing the Channel, there was quite a lot of corridor noise at times. We wish people were more considerate but that's not the fault of the hotel.

We travelled with our two small dogs and the hotel worked well for us. We were on the ground floor and parked right outside our patio window so could actually come and go through that to unload for speed. Very handy. Room was very adequate, needs some refurbishment, in parts eg the bathroom door needs repainted and the bedroom door squeaked. Nothing major. Very clean. And the position so close to the beach and promenade is just perfect. We didn't try the restaurant but we might do another time. We paid approx £61 for room in early April and two dogs, great value.
