Good hotel to use as a base. Near the metro and tram line so very convenient for exploring Lyon. Near the park and lots of restaurants and bars within a ten minute walk. Would recommend.

The room was on the smaller side and had some rough elements like wallpaper peeling off and a broken smoke detector. To be honest, the value wasn't completely clear and may have been spiked up due to a concert in town on the weekend we traveled. We felt that we paid a little too much for the size of the room that we were given.

The staff were very helpful and attentive, even at early hours of the morning. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel and my experience has been absolutely great! From the time we arrived (early in the morning and we were allowed to leave our luggage there) till the check out, we have always been welcomed with a smile from Tania. She does a great job and lets you understand that she works hard to make her guests'stay so pleasant. She is so friendly, passionate, smiling and helpful. A big thank you goes to her! People can say the hotel is not so big but I personally do not think it is a problem. The room has got enough space if you don't have big luggages. There is the kettle too. The bathroom is spacious enough for one person, clean and the towels were clean too and they were changed every day. We did not have breakfast included but after the first day when we realized that everywhere you go you pay the amount of 4,50 euro just for a cappuccino (I am Italian and this is very unreasonable for me) we decided to give it a try and add breakfast at the hotel for a very convenient price. No choice could be better. Breakfast room is small, that's true, but this has never been a problem. There's a variety of food, sweet and savoury, also fruit, juices, all the basic things one could ask for. The coffee and cappuccino are made from a machine but it's not bad compared to others I've tasted so far. Last but not least the position of the hotel... fabulous! So close to Perrache train and bus station, main places in walking distance and all the area is nice and full of shops/boulangeries/bars/supermarkets. I can only recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Lyon.

Possibly another area in Lyon such as Vieux Lyon would have more choice of restaurants but this location was good for the variety of restaurants. Building site opposite so view not the best but noise was contained

Size of the rooms, lift, common areas very small. It is clear from the info of the room, so knowing it was ok, I would suggest to place a drawer instead of the a toilet table to make best use of limited space.

Location and value for money. Property is only 5 minutes walk from railway station. The staff were really friendly particularly Celina. Easy walking distance to the main shopping area and the old city.

The pillows, they only have square pillow options. Shower head switch is also not very good, keep switch back to the small shower head. Super tall roof, not very spacious. Need more hangers in the toilet for towels.

There wasn't much to complain about, maybe the room was a bit small, but that is to be expected when so close to the middle of the city. Not much else to complain about.

The receptionist was one of the most helpful and friendly receptionists I have dealt with, she was brilliant and her work ethic and ability to help us and make our stay so pleasant will definitely influence my decision to book the hotel the next time I visit Lyon.
