How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very good breakfast. Free parking. Good all round place to stay as being on the edge of towns makes them easy to get to.

We were very happy with the accommodation and especially happy with the manager and front desk staff. We had arrived at breakfast over 30 minutes late and explained that we got the times wrong but were very hungry. The staff proceeded to bring out food from the kitchen and give us whatever was left including fresh bread and cheese. It was perfect and highly recommended, thank you!

The room has quite a lot of furniture that was - in our case - not used and it makes the room a bit tight and crowded.
The room and bathroom were very basic but VERY clean. The bed was super comfy. The location is close to a bus stop and close to the highway - easy access.

Another B & B hotel which provided a good clean room for us to stay one night on our way home. Dog friendly, good parking and a choice of restaurants nearby. We opted for a takeout from Terra Pizza's, an innovative business from a couple's house a 10 odd minute walk away. Reception Lady was polite and informative at the hotel.

Good location and the staff were extremely helpful. Facilities are basic, but more than adequate , and everything was clean and well organised. Very good value for money . Good selection of food for breakfast, with plenty of restaurants close by for an evening meal. A good base for visiting the Christmas markets in Strasbourg and other towns / villages in the area.

The pillow is too soft and there's no extra in the room. My neck suffered a bit. First shower was a disaster because the area is not completely isolated, so the water came out of the shower box and almost flooded the whole bathroom. I needed to dry everything afterwards. (+_+)
Breakfast is good for the price you pay (extra 8€ p.p). Coffee machine, tasty and different kinds of breads, cheese and ham, marmelades, juice.

The building is rather old and would be a good initiative to spend some money on the carpet, doors, bathroom and other parts. Still OK but suggest to do something to not loose your customers.
Easy place to stay with good breakfast and parking in front of the building. Reception people were very kind and thus a plus to feel at home somewhat. Not the newest building but still good quality for the money you pay.

No fridge in the room. No hood in the bathroom. Very old-fashioned furniture. In my opinion relation price/quality bad.

Very good hotel! We asked for rooms close to each other and we got adjacent rooms with connecting doors (that can be locked), very handy. Good breakfast, nice staff. Big parking. No complains, would definitely stay again.

the location wasn’t ideal but the price was based on this so understandable
the rooms were clean and the AC was efficient and controlled in each room. the breakfast was very nice.

Location isn’t ideal for motorbikes cause there are no restaurants at walking distance. You’ll have to dress up and take the baize to find something along the highway or drive into Strasbourg. Free breakfast isn’t any good. I would settle for a good cup of coffee with some nice croissants, Nout everything they served was very low quality. the hard boiled eggs are nearly too hard to eat. Resuming this wouldn’t have my preference in the future..
The room was okay and normal size with sufficient space for clothes etc. bathroom as okay too, but a bit out dated. Airco was working too, and you could switch it off to avoid the noise during the sleep. More than enough free parking spots on a enclosed place around the hotel. Microwave and vending machines in the lobby. Elevator present. Beds are okay too. I stayed here two days.
