It was all good

The staff were very attentive and explained everything really well, I ate in the hotel in the evening which was quite reasonable, they also have a small bar, the breakfast the following morning offered a lot of variety and I was allowed to take my dog into the restaurant which is always nice in France. The room was spacious with a nice bathroom and toiletries' it also had a small terrace, which was great for my small dog.

In the room in which we stayed there was no option to open a window which we considered an inconvenient. Another thing that bothered us was that a cat was drinking milk from a cereals bowl during one of the breakfasts. My personal opinion is that those bowls are meant to be used by humans and there should be separate ones for animals.

New hotel in a location not too far from city centre, only 10 minutes by tram. There is a Carrefour City 5 minutes walk from the hotel, a fast food restaurant 2 minutes away and a pizza takeaway 5 minutes away. So there are food options available if you don't fancy going to city centre. Reception staff is ok same as the breakfast. In terms of parking, there are few free places on the street with the hotel and there is a hotel parking option available for 9 euros per day.

Booked on line a full bed, asked for room away from elevator and other potential noisy location. Got to room. Had twin beds directly across from an elevator. Returned to desk and was told hotel was full which was obvious to us it was not close to full.

Clean, newer hotel. Left a guest house situation in center of town requiring us to check out in a hurry.

Rive Gauche is across the river from the old city, but we enjoyed the walk over the William the Conqueror Bridge. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable, and unusually for a European hotel, there were tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel seemed fairly new, and the buffet continental breakfast was quite good. served in the long café-bar/lounge. The staff were wonderfully helpful, spoke very good English (and other languages) and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. We would happily stay there again.

We had booked a twin room, however was not allocated a twin room. I was travelling with a friend. They provided us a double bed with a sofa bed. This was not clear on the website that a twin room might not be provided. The hotel says central location, however it is a good 25 minute walk to the city centre. it was a a very easy walk but not close enough to go back and come back out easily.

The facilities were very nice and staff very friendly.

This hotel is based in an industrial part of town right nextdoor to the local prison and 30 minute walk from the old town. So it works but be prepared to walk.

. The only issue this time was parking. Both couples need disabled rooms, which we got, but the parking was full so we had to park in the reserved spaces and move the cars by 8am. That was OK, but we had a long walk and struggled with stairs with having mobility issues. It was hard work.

Great hotel. We have stayed before (4 times). The hotel, the staff and the rooms are great. Breakfast is good too.

It said in the booking.com website that food is served all day at the hotel. We chose it with this in mind as we have a 5 year old that eats about 5pm. When we arrived we were told that the kitchen is closed between 2pm and 7pm so we had to get back in the car and find somewhere to eat which was far from ideal.
