A comfortable overnight stay. The hotel appears to have had a recent refurbishment and the interior was immaculate. There was a sense that we arrived out of season - the hotel was practically empty. We arrived in time but reception closed at 7pm and there would have been no access after that. Very nice buffet breakfast (at an extra charge).

Staff not welcoming, no empathy in communication. Hotel's main access closes 8pm-8am and mid-day to 3pm so during these times no access to the hotel lounge or outside terrace with doors locked (just take outside stairs to rooms). Very strange. Terrible quality toiletries (e.g small plastic packet for shampoo impossible to open).

All extremely clean and very modern. Good location with a pretty view of amazing town and parking right in front.

The room was really nice and comfortable, with a balcony and a great view of the city. 2 minutes far by walk to the city center and near to a free and huge parking. The bathroom was cleaned. The hotel position is great to visit Verdon area nearby.

There was no bracket to hold the shower head so you had to hold it above your head in order to take a shower, which was quite annoying.

Lack of air conditioning in the standard rooms. Shower facilities in bathroom- ok to have a shower over a bath but there should be a hook in the wall so you don’t have to hold the shower head!

there was a sliding door between corridor and toilet. so all noises could be heard inside the room. I travelled with my friend and it was not that convenient, because toilet for me means some privacy. we didn’t know what to do to open rollers on the balcony. the receptionist was late and some nice lady who is not a receptionist had to check in us. it was stress for her for sure. she did her best, but it would be nice for the receptionist not to be late and be there for people who came in time to check in.

the location is perfect! we liked the quality of furniture too. it is awesome that the hotel has dedicated parking. we also took a paid breakfast and it was worth every cent we paid for it: fresh fruit, croissants, pancakes, three types of cheese, etc!

Wifi in our room was not available, although the lady at the lobby claimed it is available. The rooms with view to the road are loud.

Every morning and at night our room has a bad cigarette odor. We kept our windows closed and ventillation of bathroom one night off and one night one. It did not help. I suspect the smell comes from a neighboring room. I stayed in room 1 and suspect it is the "private" staff room. I explained the problem to the reception. The only response was, perhaps windows. After I explained it was closed the whole day the only answer I get is "I dont know". Only two power outlets in the whole room and one in the bathroom. One was needed for the ventilator. So it was too little for me. The shower head had no holder.

Great location. Easy access just outside of Riez. From there it was easy to go to places like gorge du verdon, valensole etc. Big room and looks proper.

The bathrooms were old and the shower had no hook to hang, so you had to hold it in your hand and that was super annoying. The deco was old fashion and the entrance to the rooms was ugly and inconvenient. There was no elevator nor AC. It was a bit expensive for what it was.

The friendly and helpful receptionist and the large and confortable bed. Location was very convenient for our tour and the room had a nice balcony with nice view towards the town. Tge room was very clean.

Staff not very friendly: give you the impression that every guest is one too much. No one at the reception, and please keep your key until check-out, because they don't want to be bothered too much. Breakfast is very basic with pre-packed madeleines and pre-packed pancakes (!). Although we were in France, even the croissants seemed to be the ones you buy at Carrefour, not fresh from the bakery.

The reception was only open from 15 till 18 pm. The (nice) terrace was sometimes open, but drinks were not available. We booked a room with two beds. They claimed we booked a room with one double bed. After a lot of fuzz and no excuses we did get the room we booked, but had to pay extra. A friendly approach and just solving the problem, would have been so much easier. There were several rooms available.
