Located in the older part of Toulouse with attractions and eating places nearby. At the same time an easy walk (for those who enjoy walking when on holiday) from the train station. Welcoming staff and traditional internal decorations.

The hotel is in an ideal location - walking distance from all the major sights and convenient to public transportation. The public parking garage is underground just across the street and the hotel offers a discount on the normal rate. When you walk out the front door and step across the street you are in the beautiful square adjacent to the Capitole. It is stunning. The public rooms are very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Our room was seriously red - the walls, carpet, draperies, sofa - and might easily have been overwhelming but was so well done we found it warm and comfortable. We had a spacious sitting room and separate bedroom each with a TV. The wi-fi was very adequate. The bathroom was satisfactory with nice amenities including plush robes and slippers. Good breakfast available.

The space between the bed and the desk is too narrow. And it is also a bit narrow around the toilet.

The staff are a real asset to this hotel. They were all friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the local area. The hotel is also in an excellent location in the heart of the city of Toulouse.

The parking situation is a problem. The hotel informed us that there was a public underground parking garage right in front of the hotel. That's true but the issue is that it is often full. And driving in that part of Toulouse is not for the faint of heart. The traffic is just very tiresome. It would be better if the hotel were able to lease some spaces at a nearby garage or provide valet parking service for guests at least upon arrival. The hotel overall is very attractive but is showing its age. It could use a makeover in some of the public areas such as the elevator and in some of the rooms where the furniture has been bruised and nicked by intensive use.

Excellent location near The Capitole. Very good bar and restaurant on site. First rate, very responsive staff. Would very happily to stay here again.

Not at all the hotel's fault but finding the parking under the main square was hair-raisingly difficult.

The hotel kindly upgraded us so our room was excellent. The weather was terrible so it was nice to be able to relax in comfort. Location couldn't have been better and the staff on reception were unfailingly friendly and helpful.

The only thing I didn't like was the long winding staircase to get to my room. It was very difficult hauling suitcases up and down these stairs.
