Hotel had very secure and easily accessible parking, which was great for us on our touring holiday.. The facilities were good, with a communal fridge we used to store a few things overnight. Very friendly owners there all the time. Very nice continental breakfast with the freshest of bread and croissants.

The room was comfortable and big enough to open cases. Bed was comfortable. We actually had a second floor room but upon seeing our luggage and perhaps our age they changed us to a first floor room. The purchased breakfast was very nice - perhaps too much! Proximity to railway station excellent and a short stroll to the centre of Montluçon with a lot of dining options. There is a bar at the hotel.

The hotel was as described. It needs a little modernisation but it had a clean and comfortable bed. A working bathroom with enough lighting. A shower and bath that worked well. The staff and owner were incredible and super friendly. The made as much effort to speak in English and also gave good local knowledge of places to eat or enjoy a beer. I would stay here again if I visit Montlucon. Merci!

United KingdomThe retaurant/bar below the hotel closed at 10.00pm, as did everything else at that end of town; this came as a slight shock, this being our first night in France on this trip!
One website referred to this hotel as "modest"; this is true, but it was perfectly adequate for a one-night stay. It's in a pleasant part of town, which, despite being opposite the station, is quiet at night, The staff were helpful, and gave us useful information about sights and restaurants. Parking on the metered spaces is free from 6.00pm to 9.00am, and there seems to be a small car park at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was fine.

DenmarkThe hotel was an old hotel located next to the city's train station hence the name. The hotel had seen its best days but was functional but these type of hotels does not make you smile when you put the head on the pillow.
Typical old french hotel with small size rooms. The host was friendly and gave me a room in a lower floor as I was using a cain. The hotel was pretty quiet in the evening and night. The bedding was clean and the bed had some comfort. Free parking in front of the hotel in weekends.

(We nearly cancelled as we thought we had to pay for overnight parking) Unfortunately the drinks fridge in the foyer was locked at night. Wish it was a vending machine instead. The room door didn't seal. The soundproof was not adequate Towels were in dreadful used condition The lighting of the room was not adequate as no main light The building was uneven The room was on a slant so the bed was on a slant too The bathroom shower screen did not seal onto the bath The shower was not a powershower
The staff were welcoming, helpful, happy and explained how the accommodation worked. They advised us on places of interest to visit. Access to the property and room was straight forward Happy to have a cold drinks machine in the foyer. The room windows were left open upon arrival so the room was nice and airy and fresh. The air conditioning worked but only on one setting Tv was too small size and basic TV ie. Not a smart TV Lovely big bathroom Bed and bedding was clean and comfortable Breakfast was more than adequate, nice and fresh produce The coffee was amazing Location of the Hotel is super Hotel restaurant was convenient to use Price of accommodation in the area was right for what we recieved
