How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The cleanliness in the bathroom was a little subpar with smudges on the mirror and it looked like someone had spilled something on the bathroom door and it hadn’t been fully cleaned afterwards.

Really hard to find! No signage evident from across the street, didn't realise access was through adjacent hotel... street number system wasn't obvious and Maps showed position across the street.

The internet dropped out a bit and speed was slow.
Great location walking distance to the centre and close to the station perfect to catch an early morning train. Very quiet room which was double glazed. We also appreciated the luggage storage for our early arrival. Comfortable and clean.

I asked them to book me a cab to the airport. Instead they directed me to a taxi rank, but there were no cabs. The toilet location in the bathroom is very cramped Thdere was no egg dish in the breakfast buffet (previously when In have stayed there has been scrambled egg)
Ideally located for the station and town centre. Room clean and functional. Staff friendly. Good breakfast. Ideal for a short stopover

Good location next to the station but no noise as the windows were well insulated. Nice clean room with a good shower. Bed was very comfortable.

The carpeting in the room
Mokhtaria the staff at the front desk was incredibly courteous and welcoming and helpful making us feel almost at home with her attention to our needs with information about the city and our needs for our stay .always with a smile

Very convenient location just a few steps away from the train station and very close to the city center. There is a bar in the same building which is quite good too. Good value for money.

lack of free parking availability and the need to pay 20 euro per day for parking next door.
I liked the location. It was very convenient. I liked how kind and helpful the staff were and how complete the breakfast was. I would definitely stay there again.

Even though they offered a (too) small dog beds and bowls, I still think that the dog fee (ca. 10 Euro) is unnecessary, as I do not think the dog will necessarily cause trouble or leave the room "dirtier" than guests without dogs would. Also, unfortunately the AC seemed not to be working, and since there's a lot of noise coming from outside, leaving the window open is not really a good option to keep the room cool during the night.
It's right next to the train station but within walking distance to the city center, so perfect location if you're traveling by train. They kindly stored my luggage for a couple of hours after check-out. The bed was very comfortable, the room and bathroom were spacious. Maybe there were not a lot of guests but the hotel was very quiet (except for the noise coming from outside if the window is open).

The carpark is not included in the price so that is additional to the cost.
Centrally located. Very handy to transportation. The room is clean. Breakfast is good value for money. Staff are friendly. The location is great.
