It is a beautiful Inn within short walking distance of the village of Gordes. Comfortable, spacious, wonderfully kind staff, and delicious breakfast daily. The best! We were grateful to count it as our home base while touring the beautiful villages throughout Provence.

    Having to leave.

Everything here is fabulous. It’s like a dream in a very good movie about the French countryside. Le Domaine is just apart from the town itself—about a 15-minute easy walk. The staff could not be more delightful. Wonderful views to the west, honor bar with wine and beer, lovely breakfast… we wanted for nothings

    Everything was wonderful

A beautiful property, run with great attention to detail . Jean Luc is an exceptional host and his support staff are engaged and very responsive to the needs of the guests. The pool is lovely and a great asset on a hot day . The view is outstanding . Its a short walk into the village and we enjoyed the fact that we were a little removed from the hustle of the village itself .

Genuinely can’t think of anything. Loved it!!

Domaine de l’Enclos was the perfect luxury getaway and base for us to explore this beautiful French region. The spacious chateau was instantly relaxing and peaceful, with the gardens and room layout combining to make it feel like our own private oasis. Jean Luc, Carole, Cathy and Yannick were genuine super hosts, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, providing us with daily recommendations for restaurants and other attractions, and proactively making our stay very memorable. The chateau itself was beautiful, with a pool and games room, and perfectly located a short stroll into Gordes. The whole family loved our stay and can’t wait to make the trip back from Australia to stay again. I couldn’t recommend it more highly and have told all my friends about this hidden gem!

I didn't like that our stay came to an end!

This hotel is a gem! Located a short 7 minute walk to the gorgeous town of Gordes, it is itself a tranquil oasis, with breathtaking views, a delicious breakfast with friendly staff and locally sourced products, comfortable rooms (with AC), and lots of cozy spots to hang out an read, converse or work throughout the property. There is a casual honor bar in the lobby and also by the pool area, which lends a festive atmosphere. The best thing about this property is the owner, Jean-Luc, who gave us advice every day on where to go, what to see, where to eat and the advice was fantastic and made what would have been a good trip into a great trip. I would stay here again 10 out of 10 times.

Nothing - we really didn’t want to leave

Small luxury B&B which is more like a boutique hotel. We had a downstairs bedroom with private garden area near the pool. A delicious breakfast is served outside. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable offering advice on what to do and local vineyards. Beautiful Gordes is 10 minutes walk away with loads of nice restaurants. There is a fun honesty bar and you are free to use a fridge in the kitchen- it really is a luxury ‘home from home’ - if your home was a beautiful french country house with a pool table, beautiful lounge and stunning outdoor pool set in gorgeous gardens! Thank you Jean Luc, Carole, Cathy and Yannick

The staff were all very helpful, friendly and engaged. They offered useful suggestions about restaurants and travel in the region. Nevertheless, my room and its two private terraces, with expansive views of the beautiful grounds - not to mention two bories on the property -- were so peaceful that I chose the serenity of the domaine over additional travel. I did not wish to leave during my visit and I was certainly reluctant to leave at the end. I hope to return in the future.

This is a very special property a short walk from the center of Gordes. The pool area was particularly nice, overlooking the hills of the Luberon. Also hiking distance from the Abbaye de Senanque. The property has been remodeled impeccably without losing the charm of the local architectural style. Memorable spot. Good breakfast and nice "honestly bar"

From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. We were greeted by Cathy, who is a complete delight and brought us much joy. We then met Jean-Luc, the owner, whose grace and hospitality shine through in all interactions. The whole team is wonderful and welcoming, including Yannika and Carol. The property is beyond gorgeous, the walk into town is easy, and there are all sorts of amazing places to visit by car in 15 to 30 minutes. We loved the pool (and the pool table). And we enjoyed meeting fellow travelers who had also found this gem. If you're wondering which is the best place to stay, this is it.

Our stay was way too short. The property was too charming for a single night's stay. We plan to visit again next year.

Great location, great breakfast, great service. Just a short picturesque walk into Gordes, where we loaded up on fresh fruit and picnic tapenades at the local farmers market. Our hosts were super helpful in retrieving some items we had left behind.

Absolutely loved my stay from start to finish! The upper Chateau room is spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with two large windows in the bedroom with spectacular views. Breakfasts are excellent - fresh eggs, pastries, juices, yogurt, etc. The grounds and pool area are gorgeous. Jean-Luc and his team are gracious, professional, and lovely. The location is perfect - a quick & scenic walk into town, walking (or running) distance to the abbey, quick drive to other villages. The interior design is also beautiful.
