We were not aware that the hotel does not have lifts and we had to climb up 4 stories with big luggages. Also, they apparently just changed their air-con system and it was not functioning yet.

Not really a big deal for most, but the lack of an elevator (very common in small hotels throughout Europe) might be an issue for some. The stairs are wide, and the relatively low steps make climbing them easy even when carrying luggage.

A very nice place! The location is *great* with most of the old town within easy walking distance. If you drive, you can book a parking space in their courtyard in advance which makes things very convenient. Clean, roomy, friendly and quiet.

Location was excellent. Walking distance to the cathedral and other attractions. Our bathroom was newly renovated and lovely. Breakfast was great. Would stay there again in the future.

To improve a bit the furnitures in the room, how the lights are placed, etc. Write in the descripotion that no elvetor, maybe could be a problem for some people.

The bathroom had an awful sewer gas odor that could be smelled even in the room area! It was small and old with black stains. It is our understanding that the hotel was in the process of renovating, so hopefully this bathroom will be upgraded!

Very nice and helpful staff, nice lobby area, and good breakfast. Location was walking distance to attractions. Price was good. Convenient parking (paid).

Poor sound proofing, we could hear everyone moving in the morning and it woke us up early.

Clean room, nice size. Found free street parking near by, free from 7pm-9am in March. We asked to use a fan and they had one for us. Located right on the edge of old town. We were able to make the room nice and warm.

The hotel accommodated an early start despite the fact that the parking lot is secured and not usually accessible early. The parking could also accommodate our high car with a roof box which is frequently a problem.

Our room was very poorly lit with just the small lights above the bed. Better lighting is required.

Breakfast was adequate but would prefer to have been offered fresh fruit. It would have been nice to be able to toast the bread. I was impressed that gluten free bread was available however.

The room was a little stuffy at night, however, a fan was provided and it was needed. Toiletries were a little sparse, no shampoo or conditioner, no body cream or vanity kit. No milk provided for tea or coffee

The staff were exceptionally helpful. As we had never been to Rouen before all of the advice we were given on what to do and how to get around was excellent. We were upgraded to a larger room, this is always nice. Breakfast included was more than adequate. For me with a gluten intolerance, I was catered for, however, I did give advanced notice. A good idea if you are in this situation.
