We have been very well received. We have received very interesting tips regarding the surroundings. The breakfast was locally inspired and very good. The train trip to Bilbao (from Gernika) is very scenic and spares one with the hassles of parking a car in a big city. The coast to the north as well as the bay are very scenic too.

The walls are so super thin! We couldn’t sleep because our neighbour was snoring like a tractor. It’s not his fault but normally you shouldn’t be able to hear it so much, however this felt as if we were next to him. So I recommend just in case to take earplugs as you never know who will be sleeping in the room next to you.

The terrace could have done with some comfortable chairs. The garden is lovely, but the garden furniture not very relaxing.

The hotel is very nicely situated next to a vineyard and on the hill. It is comfortable, although the beds (mattresses) were not to our liking. Breakfast was very nice, lot's of healthy yummy things.

Of the two pillows, one was quite hard, which wasn't very comfortable. The dinner was tasty, but not cheap. It consisted of just one plate which wasn't that filling. Overall, the price for the room could, in our view, have been somewhat lower for what we got.

Beautiful location for visiting the coastal area. The room was big and had a little balcony with a view on the mountain. The building itself had a nice rural look, which suited the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Marco and Jani were wonderful hosts. Marco, being an enthusiastic motorbiker himself, gave me very good advice for a motorbike tour of the area. Jani cooked two delicious dinners. Great quiet location. Highly recommended!

It was so nice, I wish we could have stayed longer. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. The vegetarian dinner we had was fantastic and such a nice departure from the meat and fried potatoes we’ve been having as we walk the Camino.

Location was hard to get to from the Camino route. We needed 2 taxis and they were difficult to locate.

Rooms were comfortable and flexible enough to accommodate our group. We also booked a specially prepared vegan dinner for us which was amazing.

Although looking conceptual, the rooms are too ascetic. This is probably in line with the relatively budget-saving price.

The peaceful vicinity, charming building, and warm and friendly staff. Glass of local wine in the evening and fresh breakfast are complementing the experience.

It's a bit tricky navigating the small roads of the town on the way to the hotel, but there's not too much they can do about that part!

The hotel is surrounded by farms and nestled back into the edge of the woods. It's an idyllic and absolutely peaceful setting. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfy. Like so many others have mentioned, we really enjoyed the breakfast. It was simple, yet filling and delicious. We loved their focus on local, ethical, and green—everything from the toilet paper to the shower gel to the food served at the restaurant). The staff was helpful and friendly. Just a short walk to town, where there are a few delicious restaurants.

Please say sorry to our neighbors on 11th Sep. 2022 morning. Our one cat escaped to their balcony and they were very nice to her and us! Sorry for having disturbed.

The owner, Marco helped us a lot and Yani prepared wonderful breakfast. The bed pillows were very comfortable. Our cats loved the small balcony with plants. Please say thank you to the cleaning lady for giving us back in time our forgotten champagne!

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Breakfast was generous and tasty with high-quality local products. The staff and service was truly remarkable. Marco, the host is really spectacularly friendly and knowledgeable an had great tips for all sorts to get the most out of the area...which is really beautiful. An unexpected treat was the delicious food. Although I am a pretty enthusiastic carnivore, Jani's vegetarian fare was so flavorful that I never missed the meat. All products are organic, locally sourced and delcioso! We spent three weeks in Portugal and Spain on this trip and my wife and I agreed the dinners here were the culinary highlight of the trip. Loved our room - décor is hip/quirky antiques --e.g., there was an antique sewing machine in our room. Nice balcony on our room and bed was comfortable. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We were met by the owner Marco, who speaks perfect English. He was warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. The place is absolutely beautiful! We were so fortunate to find such a wonderful place in the country, peaceful and quiet with amazing views. We would definitely stay here again!
