The hotel is really high level. Really good facilities, very good size and look rooms, so clean.

They need to rethink the breakfast layout. One coffee machine is nowhere near adequate for the number of guests. That plus placement of different food stations led to chaotic queuing. The location is not good for walking into town down busy main roads. We taxied.

Spacious, clean, modern rooms and other areas. We also love their policy of recruiting 50% of their staff with disabilites.

The bed was really bad. The door made a huge noise every time you opened and closed it.

Staff was really nice, parking was really easy and just outside the door, cafe/restaurant was open late which was good for us and the food was good.

miserable bar and dining room staff Presa Iberico not cooked, sent back, not much better when it came back 10 minutes later. nowhere else’s locally to eat without driving.

The outside was not what I was expecting! Not that it's bad, just a surprise. Didn't expect 1960s brutalist architecture in sunny Merida

Driving down from Bilbao to Algarve and this was the perfect pit stop. Clean rooms, comfy beds and ice cold aircon. Everything you needed was on site from a swimming pool to the restaurant and bar.

Travelling with family in the hot summer months we were looking for a hotel with a pool. The pool is indeed excellent. The style of the hotel is a bit old fashioned, but it did not bother us. It is possible to have dinner in the hotel for a decent price and quality. A cab to the city center is about 7€. We really liked that it is an inclusive hotel (belonging to once) both reflected by the staff and guests.

It's very Spanish - you do probably need some Spanish to negotiate it and feel relaxed there There is no air-con - and no fans in the room either Not great for coeliacs - but then Spain isn't and I'd just brought my own stuff DO get the breakfast as it's good - and there's nowhere else nearby you could go to

A pleasant hotel on the edge of Merida (30 mins walk to the town centre, 20 mins to facilities including cafes and , of course, tapas!) The hotel has a swimming pool and it had the feel of a resort hotel, with lots of Spanish families on holiday there Nice, authentic Spanish feel Very good buffet breakfast - easy to negotiate Lots of free on-site parking Merida itself is amazing - chock full of old Roman ruins Staff very nice and friendly I had a really good time here

The elevator was a bit noisy most of the time and there was some food products that I have asked the staff to keep it in the freezer and they said that was not a problem but it end up in the refrigerator and all the meat got all defrost.

The breakfast service was not great, stands separated from each other in a confusing setup and too many people at the same time with limited space. Was not easy to get items and tables were very close to the buffet not allowing people to move without constrain.
