Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainWith the entire experience being so impeccable, it would be impossible to say anything negative!
This idyllic paradise is highly recommended to travellers seeking peace in the unspoiled countryside, far from pollution and noise. Each suite is uniquely decorated and spotlessly clean. The owner and his team are delightful, knowledgeable about the area, helpful at all times and charming. All food offered and served is to a high standard. Dog owners and their four footed friends are so welcome. Freedom abounds… Children of all ages will enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool during the warm months, and be able to learn about farm life and caring for animals, if they so wish. This is a very unique hacienda stay experience, not to compared with normal hotels. This is definitely a magnificent and authentic Andalusian rural retreat. Bravo and infinite thanks to Rafael and Elena 🤩👏🤗

The most stunning location. Delicious food. And the most friendly and helpful staff we’ve ever encountered. The kids had a blast. We all went horse riding in the hills. Saw eagles. Swam in the local lake. Lovely pool and gardens. Kids collected eggs from the chickens. Beautiful horses.

United KingdomFlight options to Seville mean a late evening arrival but clearly not under the control of the property!
This place is just fantastic. Rafael is a brilliant host, constantly seeking to make sure that guests have a wonderful stay. It all feels very personal, as though you are a visiting member of his family. Completely relaxed vibe with lots of walking, cycling and riding options. Guadalcanal is a small but friendly place with good options in the main square for drinks/tapas. It sits right at the northern limit of the Sierra Norte so transfer from Seville is scenic but only about 90 minutes. We enjoyed a heavenly break - to use Rafael's word - just "Tranquilo"!

DenmarkPerhaps the mattress was a bit hard for my liking.
Wonderful place for a relaxing weekend. Our daughter had the time of her life, playing, taking care of the animals, riding horses, collecting eggs and making new friends. She didn't want to leave. All the while, we parents could read, eat and relax in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings. From the moment we entered, all our needs were taken care of by the friendly and professional staff. It's a little world of its own, where it is possible to forget the real world, just for a little while. Absolutely highly recommended!!

LuxembourgI wish I had booked for a longer stay, 2 nights was too short to take in the lovely surrounding sites.
An amazing experience from arrival we were welcomed with a great smile from the host Raphael, he looked after us like family serving delicious local Ibérico ham, olive oil produced from the surrounding fields, local wines … an authentic Spanish paradise! Not only was the food and rooms lovely, the Andalusian horses trained by the host were magical to watch. At sunset we went horse riding through the olive groves and into the local village. Lots to explore locally also, the via verde trail and UNESCO sites great for long or short hikes or cycling. A wonderful experience, I hope we can come back again soon!

United StatesFacilities were rural and older on a farm/resort complex. Staff and the owner were sweet, wonderful and responsive to our needs. We went in December when there was not much to do there and the tiny town was mostly closed. This place would be great in the warmer weather!

United KingdomRaphael was an exceptional host, so friendly and helpful plus he is an amazing chef too! The place was stunningly beautiful, so quiet and peaceful and we fell in love with all the friendly little cats who followed us around everywhere 😊 The accommodation was superb, clean, comfortable with a mini kitchenette, comfy bed and a great shower. He took us horse riding up through the olive groves and then surprised us with a complimentary bottle of the oil the day we left which was so kind of him. We looked forward to a glass of wine, good food and a wonderful open fire in the onsite restaurant every night. This is seriously one of the best places we have ever stayed and we would love to come back in the summer to use the pool, enjoy the peace and quiet and eat Raphael's amazing food again! Highly recommend this wonderful place!
