A few mosquitoes and I think there were fleas from the little dog! Matches in kitchen almost impossible to light - bring a cigarette lighter!

Nice hostel, cheap, secure, dorms have single/double beds not bunks, no lockers but key to dorm, Aircon, large kitchen, free filtered water, WiFi okay, laundry next door.

The wifi didn't really work that well in the bedrooms, so if you need good wifi you'll need to go to the main area (my phone also got worse reception here than other parts of Puerto Ayora).

This was a really cute hostel, in a good location. It is just on the edge of town, near the Darwin Research Station. I loved that the rooms had an in-room A/C unit, which I used at night. Hostel had hot water in the bathroom. Free drinking water in the kitchen area provided, just need to bring your own water bottle.

We stayed for one night and had a very simple check-in. Room was big and air condition worked perfectly.

No hot water in our shower and our room was incredibly mouldy, this is common in accommodation we have stayed in throughout the Galapogas though. We maybe just had a bad room but it was also noisy throughout the night and in the mornings.

Staff were friendly and WiFi was very good.

We stayed at Hostel el Pinzon twice and the first time our room had good wifi reception but the second time we had a new room and could only get wifi in the kitchen.

Very close to our scuba destination, Scuba Iguana. Great kitchen.

No availability of lockers in the hostel. Also didn't really get the social hostel vibe, but I guess that is standars for Galápagos.

Very good hostel, with free water refills, a kitchen and renting of snorkling equipment. At check-in you get a good overview of activities on the island. There was no one else in my room for most nights. Located in the center, close to the darwin center.

The wi-fi is bad, if you are planning on WFH or need to be connected a lot, this may not be your stronger option. But hopefully they invest more on this. The kitchen was clean most of the time, but since it is a hostal sometimes people would leave food out or not filter their trash.

We were looking for a place to keep our things during our trips around the islands, the price for the Hostal was within the range and the owner helped us book some tours at a good price.

kind of inconvenient location on the edge of town, but puerto ayora is so small it's not a huge deal. TV didn't work, but not that important for us. pillows were terrible though. very thick and firm.

Needs upgrade. The towels , sheets need a change. You could feel the mold in the toilet and the kitchen toaster had little bugs 🐛 🙄. Not the cleanest. It's not city centre but for us walking was OK.

They staff were amazing, they really helped us with the tours and some local information. The beds were comfortable.
