The bed consisted of 2 smaller mattresses, which was super uncomfortable as a couple to sleep in. I ended up sleeping on the sofa because I kept rolling in-between the two mattresses. They serve breakfast until 10, but everything was long gone around 9:15 In the room we found some.information sheets, but they were only printed in German. Least they could do is put an English translation at the back of the pages. Food was pretty expensive and also didn't have any translation so we ended up ordering something on takeaway :)

Nice location. The rooms were pretty spacious, as was the balcony! The bathroom was perfect and the towels were already on the heater when we arrived Everything was really clean.

A Christmas party right under our room started at 6 PM and went until about 3 AM the next morning. Very loud singing and music which woke me at 10PM until close to 3AM. Very disturbing.

Breakfast Staff was excellent....great variety of hot and cold foods on food bar.

At times where it was quite busy -many guests to attend to at one time- in the restaurant (mainly at breakfast) it seemed there was no staff enough. The 2 persons who were at service had to run around quite fast and a lot to have everything cleaned up and food topped up in time. They were still very friendly and helpfull :-) We just felt a little guilty that they had to work so hard ^^' In the morning of our last full day to stay, we went to the reception to ask for the evening menu and to reserve a spot in the restaurant to enjoy that menu. Maybe we weren't clear enough about the purpose of our reservation because when we attented in the evening, we couldn't get the evening menu anymore because except for a table, the menu wasn't booked for us. We still could eat "a la carte" and we had a good meal. But we left a bit dissapointed that we couldn't have the menu due to communication error. But don't worry, WE WILL BE BACK :-D !!! Thank you for the service. Until the next time :-)

We were wat later due to traffic and weather. They called us up and it was no problem that we were what later. The reception had given word to the restaurant staff and upon arrival we could go to them to get the key to our room. Very friendly and helpfull personel. :-)

you can smell chlorine in the pool that is normal but you could also smell it in the first floor hall . there is almost no mobile reception and WIFI was so week that i had to work in front of the door in hallway. every thing is in German without English translation.

the breakfast was good and from § to 10. the indoor swim pool was clean. the view was good and it was quiet. it has 2 parking location that was almost full ( not completely)

There is no phone signal which might be a bit annoying but Wifi was rather ok. I guess it’w the price to pay of being in the middle of nature.

Very nice hotel, in the middle of the Black Forest. Staff are super nice, the rooms are rather big and confortable and the pool/spa area is a great plus. Also, the restaurant and breakfast are delicious.

A little expensive and the bed in the sleeping room was one big bed With two mattresses, like why you book one of the biggest Suite in the hotel have a Nice Bathroom to only be let down by the bed? One Big Bed and one big mattress not two of them on the same bed you cannot sleep well with your wife or girlfriend, makes no sense to me, that is the -1 for me,the rest was okay.

We were told quite late that the restaurant was closed in the evening due to staff shortages. Luckily 50 meter below (literally) is another restaurant. The breakfast was a little late for our wishes, but I assume that is just us. 7:30 is normally early enough for most.

We had the suite. It was lovely and huge. The view was spectacular. The breakfast was great as expected and the staff was helpful even when we showed up 10 minutes early.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is green and quiet. Ideal for walking and enjoying nature. The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated and has plenty of cosy places to sit down, read and relax. The pool is absolutely great and so is the nicely decorated wellness area. The breakfast area is a spectacular, light and spacious greenhouse. The breakfast selection is also very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back and hope that the restaurant will be open again in the future!

It was difficult to connect internet. The signal was too weak.

Our room was quiet, comfortable and had a nice view of Black forest. Also, breakfast was nice and we tasted the local products. We had dinner twice in the restaurant. The service was nice and food was excellent. Our child really enjoyed to be in the pool. On the whole, we had a great experience and nice walk in the forest there.
