You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomRooms are elegant but a little dated, hairdryer in bathroom not working correctly, however there was a spare in the wardrobe.
Location is beautiful, building is traditional and modern in parts. New pool area is fantastic with a poolside bag already made up for your stay in the room. Food and service were outstanding.

FinlandDinner was quite OK:, breakfast as expected. All good quality. No disappointments. The room (number 30) is really nice by size and also by interior decoration. The only issue I was surprised was the bad ventilation, you need to open the windows to get fresh air in and humidity after shower out... The yard area is nice and clean. The place will be even more enjoyable in the summer. It was great that we could also bring our young dog to dinner.

After a long ride on motorbikes, this hotel was like arriving at a beautiful oasis. We'd thoroughly recommend. ☺

SwitzerlandThe road to the hotel is a bit lonely. It was ok during summer, as the sun was out longer. The weather was nice and the view from the hotel was fantastic, so it was a bit of a shame that we got a breakfast table in an inside corner of the restaurant (while there were a lot of empty tables outside and in the conservatory area).
The hotel is beautiful and the staff was generally nice and accommodating. We were offered the possibility to have dinner, as we arrived late (which we didn't take, as the menu was quite heavy). The breakfast was nice and the food had good quality in general. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

United States- The hotel really only caters to German travelers. I speak French, Dutch and English but unfortunately no German. All the communication from the hotel is only in German. And 90% of the staff only speaks German. The above would have been fine if there wasn’t essential information communicated to guests. - The spa/wellness piece was a complete mess. I asked to book treatments when I arrived and they told me it was completely full during our stay and that it had said in an email they had sent that you had to book ahead. That email was in German, so I did not know. This was really upsetting as it was the main reason we come to the hotel. They should have enough availability in their Spa to cater to the hotel guests, especially when the hotel is marketed as a wellness hotel. I asked to be put in the waiting list but did not get a call. On my last day I went to reception just in case to check if something had opened and they told me that something had opened up the day before and they had tried to call me….but only called my room! As if people wait all day in their hotel rooms. They had my mobile number easily accessible and nobody called me. Very frustrating. We were very clear on arrival that this was important to us but no one seemed to care or make an effort to accommodate. - The bathroom was missing hair conditioner
- Great catering to dogs. The room had a dog bed that my dog loved and two little dog bowls already prepped with water. Dogs are allowed everywhere in the hotel and there are some great walking paths on the property. - The first room of the dining area is really beautiful with an old fireplace; food was excellent and service was excellent . - Very calm and relaxing - Comfortable beds
