How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The fridge to have worked and the room to be cleaner.
The location is ideal, on the good side of the train station (get out of station by side exit, taxi stand, and it is across the street). The room was big, and you must remember, it is an old fashioned hotel, over 100 years old in a beautiful building. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was good, as you would expect from a good German breakfast. Plenty of choice for everyone.

In my room 262 there was noise coming for flushing whole night. Secondly the water was continuously dripping for toilet flush, which you do not feel good as waste of water
Yes, location is very perfect sustainable it is just next door to public transportation facilities like trams and main central station. Breakfast and snacks facilities are very good and value to money.

Our pillows were soo lumpy and uncomfortable. Like balls of fluff in them. The room has no climate control so we were hot most of the time in the room.
Across the road from station so very super handy to go anywhere and only a few stops away from station. Breakfast was so good and a massive selection. They also have coffee, cake and fruit all day in foyer. Free mini bar filled up daily which was handy. Easy check in and check out. Easy to walk all over the city from this location.

The shower drain was clogged and water moved so slow that I had to shut off water so it didn’t overflow. I made the staff aware of this.
I needed a location close to the train station, filled my needs!

We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne. We felt very welcome. The rooms are spacious, high ceilings, large windows. The interior feels a little tired, but it didn't bother me at all. Even a certain charm, as in old Italian hotels. The location is very good, for those who need easy access to the Mess and the airport. There is nothing very interesting in the area, so you have to go to the historical center or some other location. Breakfast is simple but good. The restaurant was not great though. It is better to drink beer in a bar and go somewhere else to eat.

The bathroom smell bad, smelled like sewage, and I didn't like it had bathtub, I'd prefer a shower tray. The curtains in the room were really old, they had almost no color left and were very rotten...
O breakfast was fine, had everything I could ask and the staff was very helpful. Location was good in front of the rail-station and close to the city center.

The hotel was just opposite central station and next to flix bus station, which is so convenient for us who travel between train and bus. The staffs are very helpful and nice. sincerely appreciate for the room arrangement as requested, complimentary minibars & welcome drinks. Not to mention about the awesome breakfast, with plenty of choices. We really enjoyed our stay here. 👍👍

I probably wouldn’t stay in this area if I wanted to visit Frankfurt. Was good for overnight stay for train connections.
Very close and easy to find from Frankfurt Main. We need to catch a very early train in the morning and it was directly opposite train station. They also have a bar fridge with complimentary drinks and a Prosecco on arrival. Breakfast also looked good and they let us grab a little as it was before 6am.
