Positive section of review
The staff was helpful, the room and bath were well equipped. The selection for the breakfast was lavish, as one would expect from such a large hotel. The location of the hotel is really good for a visit to Zwolle's city center. I would also highlight the extra effort of the hotel staff who was prepared for the guests leaving early - like us - despite the previous day was a national part/holiday (27th April).

The elevator was reeking from smokers. Our window was above the back entrance which is also the designater smoking spot, so it was noisy even late in the evening, faintly audible through closed windows as well. As we arrived early we were lucky to get a free parking space (of ~20 spots), but this also means we were unable to use our car for the rest of the day otherwise we would've needed to park in the paid area.

Great location in the Jordaan. Amenities closely such as restaurants and supermarkets- plus plenty of cool shops. Desa the host was very friendly and assisted us with lost baggage/ phone calls etc. large stain glass windows that could open. Clean bathroom and can request towel change during stay. Italian restaurant “Santi & Santini “ downstairs with manager/ chef from Puglia, Italy.

Lovely cabin equipped with everything you need for a short seaside getaway with a toddler and dogs, just 10 minutes drive for the beach. 2 rooms and a living room with airco during hot days, perfectly equipped kitchen and bathroom. Just don’t forget your own towels, everything else you need is already there 😊

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Great choice at breakfast . 20 mins drive from The Keukenhof If you stay more than 1 night and don't want your room cleaned you get a free drink which was a great idea.

The diner menu was quite limited.However, I had the chicken satay, which was nice. Great all you can eat and drink Chinese restaurant 5 mins walk. The swimming pool was closed during the afternoon for children swimming lessons, which was a little disappointing

We liked the small but nice swimming pool. The bed was also big, and we had a nice balcony in the sun. The parking lot was close to the entrance, and the employees were nice.

When we checked into the rooms, everything was still dirty—dirty beds, dirty bathrooms, etc. After asking the receptionist, they sent someone to clean it in 2.5 hours. The first night, my son wasn't feeling well, so I wanted to use the service for cleaning the bed and the bathroom in between nights. It didn't happen until I called twice and needed to get angry because housekeeping was already done for the day. Other guests on our floor wanted to let them clean the room as well and were also skipped. Oh yeah, the restaurant only had one vegan option and barely any options for guests with allergies.

The host was fantastic and ready when we arrived. He explained the facilities and gave a tour of the property. Very welcoming.

It would have been great if there were mirrors in the bedroom, even small ones. For personal comfort, I would have preferred a slightly firmer bed. However, the kitchen facilities were superb, everything you could possibility need.
