Hotel & room were clean. Staff were polite but some of them didn't speak English well. Location is great - close to many bus stops & subway station; walking distance from Gion area Luggage was stored freely & securely until check-in. Breakfast was tasty but it was the same meal every day.

Convenient location, less than 10 minutes walk from Kyoto Station, and close to taxi services if you need one. There is a park perfect for kids to play.

It's smaller than expected, perfect for a family of 4 or 5 but we were 7. The kids didn't mind, it had good WiFi.
