The Lucky Hotel was the most perfect place to stay- so close to Shin-Okubu station (yet somehow so quiet?!) and the hundreds (yes, literally hundreds) of amazing bars, cafes, restaurants and shops in Shinjuku. The location cannot be beaten. The facilities were great and the room was very comfortable. It is a more traditional style (bed and seating on the floor) so provided you know what you’re booking you won’t be disappointed! Though unassuming in photos, this lovely hotel was a real highlight of our trip. We had the most amazing time and will never stay anywhere else in Tokyo!!

The location of the property is great. It's located 300 meters away from Honjo-azumabashi station and 1.5 km from Skytree and you can walk across the bridge to reach Asakusa and Sensoji temple. Because the hotel is located in residential zone, so you can sleep peacefully. If you love jogging in the morning you can run across the bridge and run alongside the Sumida river.

Because it's the rental apartment, so you have to wash the towel and clean the room by yourself otherwise you have to use it until your checkout date.

The room is super clean with daily house keeping! Yummy breakfast and friendly staff! Nishi Kasai is a lively neighbourhood with many eateries and convenient shops! Subway- Tozai line is close by and commute you to Tokyo Station and to all the attraction places! If you landed in Narita Airport ,you could stop you NEX at Chiba and take subway to the Hotel:)

Fantastic location close to Dotonbori and on top of one of the main subway / train stations. Great top floor breakfast room and bar with great views

We had the junior suite which was great but I found the room a bit dark as it had a window close to the bed and the seating area did not have a window. Would have loved a bit higher floor than the 16th for better views

Triple Room might be a bit small for three people with big luggage. Its okay for 2-3 days but longer its too small.

Great location. Love the bathroom and design of the room. Checking-in and out were pretty clear and easy.

Very minor - The dark coloured hangers faded, and I had the colour left on the white towel, just be aware of the hangers for wet clothes.

Quiet location but easy short walk to Nagoya station.

The breakfast was held in a Vietnamese restaurant on the ground floor. It was too small and and understaffed to handle the crowd for the Golden week period. There was shoving and pushing for food as the items ran out very fast. There was just not enough space to move around. Tables were not cleared and cleaned fast enough and the queue was long! It seemed rather chaotic too me. There was neither quantity nor quality in the breakfast. Price was cheap though, at 1500 yen per pax. It cost 500 yen to use the washing machine.
