The location of this apartment is absolutely brilliant. It is above a 5 storey shopping centre with specialty shops and restaurants below. Everything Edinburgh has to offer, i.e., Hop on Hop off bus on Waterloo , Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood Palace, Cathedrals, Gardens, and Historic buildings, etc. are all within easy walking distance to. Our car was safely parked in the undercover parking area provided. Free washing machines and dryers are available , which was a perfect opportunity before leaving. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Croissants available free each morning at reception as well as coffee anytime. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel if you have a car and need parking.

The bed was comfortable but small! A King sized bed would have been a 10/10 for the stay.

The staff where really friendly and helpful couldn't fault them at all. The bedroom was big and very comfortable and cleaned every day to a high standard.

There is NO parking which can be difficult and costly! Perhaps a word with the council would help maybe they could provide a parking permit or something similar. It has put us off booking here again I'm afraid,which is disappointing as the accommodation itself is really good.

I will just point out a few points regarding the room (408) that it's better if the hotel takes care of them: 1. the security box is on the floor shelf in the closest, meaning that in order to use it you must crawl on the floor... 2. The closet is situated between a wall and the bed. It's quite narrow there. On the wall, a small cupboard is hanged, for the coffee pot. When getting up, after crawling to lock the safety box, my head hit the cupboard. It's a bad and dangerous location to hang the cupboard. 3. There is only one drinking cup in the room. I used it for drinking, which means that I didn't have a cup to place the toothbrush. In addition, during the 4 days there, the cleaning staff has never changed the cup by a clean one. They didn't touch it. 4. The cover of the toilet's stool hides the flushing faucet, which enforces you to touch the cover each time that you need to flush the water... 5. As I departed around 6 am I asked to get a breakfast to take away. I got a paper bag with some fruits: 2 apples, 1 pear, 2 plums, and 2 clementines and a juice. It would be good if they replaced some of the fruits by a piece of cake or a sandwich.
