The apartment is very spacious for two people. The kitchen is large but the induction stove was not working quite well. The washing machines in the basement are useful.

The reception was terrible, the lady that eventually came to check us in didn’t know any of the history of the monastery. It was dismal. We had booked dining which was confirmed and then on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed because something had “broken” in the restaurant. The rooms were adequate but very sparse. We had ordered a double bed, which was confirmed but got 2 singles. The breakfast was terrible! The hotel wasn’t full but allocated us a room with a view of the car park, rather than of the beautiful scenery. We don’t recommend this property at all.

Expensive breakfast which wasn’t worth the money. Room was very hot aircon and wasn’t great. No fridge in room, hotel drinks to buy for room were expensive.
