Positive section of review
It has a perfect location, basically 300m from the entrance of the national park and very close to good restaurants. The included breakfast was daily fresh made by the owners (although unusual for us - a very good soup with spicy pork dumplings). The owners are very helpful with booking tickets (they even have a discount compared to the internet). It has nice bathrooms.

The owners talk little to no english, which was only a minor inconvenience due to translation apps.

Absolutely amazing. It's located within it's own tea plantation, inside the Zhangjiajie national park. Robin really helped us with planning our trip, tickets, bringing you to the sunset - sunrise spots, guiding you to the resort, etc. They have an extremely cute dog roaming around.

It was no problem since it's obvious, but it's not necessarily easy to get there and you already need to have a ticket to the national park.

The triple room is OK for three persons, there is enough space for big suitcases. Everything is clean. There were washing machines and dryers on our floor, so we could wash and dry our clothes - very comfortable is when you are on a trip for weeks.

It is quite noisy in the room, you can hear the vehicles passing through the nearby streets all night long. The reception staff did not speak English. They used translation apps, and so we managed to communicate with them. But in my humble opinion it is not OK for a hotel of an international chain, where guests come from all over the world, to have reception clerks without at least basic English.

I love a Langham hotel… especially the smell when you walk in the front door. The staff are always next level great and no matter what city you’re in they can communicate amazingly well in English.
