Positive section of review
Location was great (if you're okay to walk into the Village - 25 mins). Number of bedrooms and beds available; enough room for 9 people, up to 11 if needed. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Hot tub out back was great. Large enough so that 9 people (even 11) would not feel crowded. More than enough parking: 2 inside a heated garage, 1 outside the garage and use of parking stalls on the property (first come, first serve). Great option for early Spring visit to Sun Peaks. Looking forward to booking a stay in the Winter.

Instructions for using the hot tub were not provided; we did figure it out in the end. Bird poop on the back steps and bbq; could be just that time of year. Only enough seating in the 'living room' for 5 people (comfortably) - if that's important.

We loved the Victorian house and location. Our bed was extremely comfortable, and the neighborhood was very quiet. We were able to rest well after cycling for 50km every day. Our host Gail was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying at this beautiful property.

One side of the bed did not have a beside bed table, but we improvised with small stool that we found in the hallway. Perhaps Booking.com is to blame for this, but the cleaning fee is something that I will never get used to or accept as a normal state of affairs. I mean the room should be clean for guests that are staying and the price of the room should include this as a normal part of it, same as towels, running water, bed sheets etc. It is beyond me that we have to pay extra to have a clean room. I can make my own bed and wash dishes if that is what I'm paying extra for.

We had 2 cats along with us. Charges for our cats was 15 per cat before taxes. Everything was as expected. We requested for a late checkout time, and the hotel staff was kind enough to fulfil our request.

Good availability of facilities in the room. Check-in was easy, and it was good to be able to store luggage in the locker on our day of leaving. Staff have all been friendly and helpful.

I like the room and location of the room. I loved the fact we had a balcony on the bottom floor. It made the room more accessible. Especially when I have bad knees. Thank you.

The only problem I had with the room was a furniture pieces. The table and chair were too big for the room and we had to squeeze around it. If anything, it should have been removed and moved the TV to be more center and maybe small or narrow coffee tables just to put your luggage on.

One of the towels looked dirty. It may have been only stained but didn't look clean. Neighbours were yelling at each other the first night we stayed. You could hear the neighbours water works when showering which was pretty loud in the unit we were in.

Maybe I would change the beds for more comfortable ones, I think a sofa bed in the living room would also be great, I never found the Wi-Fi password, I honestly don't know if I had one, and lastly there was a noise upstairs, I think it came from a machine room or something like that that suddenly didn't let us sleep and I think it would be nice to leave a present for your guests
