Very clean fresh room. The queen bed studio had a kitchenette, oven cook top fridge mini dishwasher. The bathroom was clean. Very convenient to walk to from the wedding at the museum of Nature.

Room 106 is at ground level facing O'Connor street. People walking on the sidewalk could see in our window. Unfortunately we had to keep the blinds closed on this sunny hot weekend. Felt a little closed in.

Gordon was very pleasant and easy to talk to. He provided the extra thing we needed. Also, the plaxe was very close to the venue of our weekend activities.

The room I booked had a loveseat (2 person sofa) in the photos and that’s why I chose that room, but it only ended up being a single chair.

It should be known that there is no elevator, we were on the third floor, and my husband had a ton of baggage since he was leaving for a flight overseas and wasn’t comfortable leaving the luggage in the car overnight, so lugging it up 3 stories was an ordeal. But we were aware of that before booking.

The beds were a little too hard and was mentioned by everyone. I would also recommend throwing out items in the fridge that have been left that are expired.(ie: yogurt etc.) but having condiments and items like sugar etc are great!

I'm struggling to find anything positive to say about this hotel. It was a nightmare to find the parking. The location is awful super far away from Toronto. I think the owner should mention you get a room with no windows. Just makes you feel so locked up! Furniture in the room is very old stained and looks bad. I'd rather just have no furniture. Anyway it was by far one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed it. Will not be back, will not recommend

The shower in the bathroom (ensuite BR 3) was raised (about 2 normal steps height), so it wasn’t easy getting in and out of the shower. A small stool would have been helpful. The unit was also really cold when we first got there. Had to request for the heater to be turned on. Also the boiler was in the ensuite (BR 3), and there was a mild gas smell constantly coming thru. The floor of the shower in both bathrooms was slippery. Rubber bathmats would be useful.

No elevator. You have to carry all your bags through the stairs. I wrote them a few messages about the deposit they have taken, one week since then and they did not answer at all.
