Upon first arriving, the staff were so welcoming. The location and view from the hotel were better than what I imagined from the website. The room was very spacious and having the balcony for the weather we experienced was a great bonus.

I thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary food, serene atmosphere, and excellent amenities including a swimming pool, gym, and inviting outdoor spaces. These features made my stay truly memorable and relaxing

One aspect that didn't meet my expectations was the time it took for the swimming pool water to warm up. Despite being assured by staff that it would be heated promptly, the process seemed to take longer than anticipated, resulting in a slightly less enjoyable swimming experience.

The location was great, room was large and had a nice table and chairs set up. The booking and check in and out was very simple and easy. There was lots of parking available which was really nice.

It was clean, but had older carpet. It would be nice if they upgraded to vinyl planking or laminate floor which is cleaner. The TV was a bit small and older for the size of the room. Also, I forgot to ask for the WIFI password when I got there and when I went to use my laptop I looked for a card in the room with the password and it said to ask front desk, but it had already closed at 10pm so no WIFI for me.

View over the harbour was lovely. All the staff we encountered were really nice, professional, and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable.

We were a little puzzled as to why the restaurant was located in a darker and rather small back corner of the main floor (with no view) and outfitted more like a sports bar, rather than located in the potentially expansive front of the hotel to take advantage of the big windows and lovely view of the water. The food we had on two occasions was quite good, but it seems they are missing an opportunity to have a destination restaurant attraction with higher end fare on the Island. Also, though the stairs (we counted about 29 steps to the second floor) seemed newly refinished and attractive, it would be lovely to have an elevator for the comfort of older folks like us. However, to be fair, the staff mentioned several times they would be happy to assist with baggage.

It said there was air conditioning but it was very warm in the room. We were adviced to not open the windows due to the ac but it didn't seem like it was working.
